~Nyocia Weyr~
The rogues have for the most part returned home, but many tend to swing by, especially for mating flights. Nayarath has risen yet again, this time to be caught by the determined Tan Wuith. With yet another change of Weyrleader, Kora has withdrawn again and Nayarath is in no better mood. The loss of Pern's first Violet, Kelth, has not helped things. Shador and Danac's Lord Holder Teval died together, under suspicious circumstances. Few are quite sure what to think.
Thread is Falling. Fighters and Candidates are needed, as are just hard-working weyr-folk. Everything has to run smooth if the South is to be saved...unlike the North. How will you help?

Weyr Bowl (2 sub-boards) Need to wash or feed a dragon? Just want to relax, take a swim, pick some flowers? Well...here's the Weyr Bowl! Moderators: Sparrow, Jenth
Weyrling Barracks (1 sub-board) Just Impressed a dragon? Lucky...but anyway, now you are moved into the first level of the Weyr. This whole level is sectioned off as the official Weyrling Barracks, much more spacious than the Candidate ones. Moderators: Sparrow, Jenth
Lower Caverns (2 sub-boards) The Lower Caverns of Nyocia contain the quarters of the weyrfolk and the Kitchens. Unfortunately, the Caverns are not large enough to hold either Barracks. Moderators: Sparrow, Jenth
Infirmary Got an injury? Threadscore? Any other Ailment? Well come to the Infirmary to be treated. This building is connected directly to a hall in the Weyr, built right on the side of the crater wall for easy access. It's about medium size or a little bigger. Moderators: Sparrow, Jenth

Candidate Barracks The Candidate Barracks are actually a meduim sized building that is only connected to the Weyr by a hallway. There is plenty of room for a good one hundred people in these Barracks though, so don't worry! Moderators: Sparrow, Jenth, Amejisuto
Danac Hold (2 sub-boards) Danac Hold is a prosperous little hold that supplies Candidates, instruments, and just about everything to the Weyr. Gathers can also be held here.

Other Holds/Places Danac isn't the only place people live in the Southern Continent! If anyone wants to visit somewhere other than that, they can do so here.

Wher's Labyrinth (1 sub-board) A large cave just outside Nyocia Weyr where whers and their handlers can live without running into too many dragons. Although closer to Nyocia Weyr than Danac Hold, it tends to have more contact with the Hold because there is more use for whers there. Moderators: Sparrow, Jenth

Firecliff Cove A quiet little section of beach, seemingly cut off from the rest of the world by its surrounding walls of orange-red sandstone. It's a nice place to relax, but only if you have an easy way to get in and out of the place. Moderators: Sparrow, Jenth

Overgrown Island Although surrounded by a sandy beach, not far in trees and shrubs of all sorts begin. Left alone for many Turns, but still protected from Thread by the grubs and dragons, it has become completely overgrown. Someone with lots of time could have fun exploring this...
