(OOC: I don't really have time so post is really short. I won't be on for a while so I am doing whole class in one post)
K'met waited as the newly made weyrling filtered in. Once they were all ithere, they walked down to the lake where he showed them how to rub in the sweetsand, allow their dragon to rinse in the lake, and then to come back to be oiled. Then, he and his new assistant for this group walked around to make sure everything went ok and that the new weyrlings were doing it right.

B'can rapidly realized the downside to being a tan rider. Apolloth was going to be big. Not a bronze or a gold, of course, but big enough. A lot more dragon to look after than the barreds and greens.
But his dragon and special. As the dirt and grime and lingering egg goo lifted away from the light-colored tan's hide, he realized just how gorgeous a color he was. Enough that he would envy this dragon's rider...
...if he wasn't that rider. "You clean up well, handsome," he told Apolloth.
Of course I do.
Now that ego...was going to be a handful.

Artemisth was not very happy about having been beaten by Apolloth again and was very sure to repeatedly tell Salise this. She should have hatched first, and he had taken that, and now he had beaten her to the first Weyrling Lesson?! This time she was quite sure it was Salise's fault though; it was Hers who had been nervous about going and held back a bit until she saw others heading there.
Artemisth did not plan to let that happen again. She shook impatiently as Salise rubbed her down with sweetsands and then oiled her, liking the feeling but not willing to admit it over her annoyance. With her purple stripes against her silver-green hide, the Barred at least decided she probably looked better than that Tan now that she was clean.

”My heart, you can’t still be hungry!”
Minervath looked at her rider with such a petulant expression that K’dric backed down. Sighing, he went back to the herdbeast carcass- little more than bones, now- and carved another couple of mouthfuls for his hungry barred.
Minervath is a growing girl.
K’dric laughed, a sound emanating from his belly and exuded his happiness.
”All too true!”
He was, after all, the one that had to scrub her, and as fast as she was growing, it seemed that there was more every day to scrub.
Today, though, something new would be added. K’met had informed the barracks that today would be their first lesson, so after their dragonets had finished eating and bathing, they were to report to the classroom.
Speaking of which, K’dric was probably already late, late to his first lesson! He lead Minervath to the lake, and scrubbed her quickly.
Minervath wants to sleep, she whined. K’dric was tempted to let her, but he couldn’t. They had to go to the lesson!
It was a very disgruntled Minervath, and a very wet K’dric that finally made it to the Weyrling classroom.
K’dric listened carefully to the Weyrling Master, and when he was done, fell to oiling Minervath with a good will. The barred all but melted under the soothing touch of his oil-slicked hands. A veritable puddle of a dragon, Minervath reached out to her sister, Artemisth.
Artemisth, isn’t this wonderful!

Lessons! LessonsLessons! Bacchuth chirped excitedly to Rosalind, who was practically dancing alongside her young bonded. While most might have expected a green for the flightly Rosie, Rosalind couldn't imagine a better dragon than her lovely Bacchuth. None could suit her flighty nature better than a dragon who was much the same.
"Clean. To be clean my handsome little blue. You know we should find someone to talk to because well, y'know, it's fun to talk to peole and-- Hey! Bacchuth I can't oil you if you wander away!" Laughing as she spoke, Rosalind practically bounced after her blue as the weyrling dragonet moved to greet his siblings with the same brightness that Rosalind would. Minervath, Artemisth, hello! Isn't it fun to be oiled and washed? Mine only got half done because I was just so excited to talk to you both. But she comes now, perhaps she'll talk to yours? It seemed Bacchuth talked as rapidly as his bonded, who once again knelt to oil Bacchuth, talking rapidly to her fellow weyrlings as she did.
"Congrats. Both of you. I'm so pleased I Impressed! I really thought I wouldn't cause you know, I'm a little scatter brained. But Bacchuth seems just the same! I'm so pleased, so many people Impressed! It's so good! Minervath and Artemisth are gorgeous."

Artemisth rumbled, glad that the dragonets were talking to her and not Apolloth. She would win at making friends then. Oh isn't it? My hide feels very nice now. She nuzzled Salise thankfully, although the gesture of kindness also put a nice stripe of oil on the girl's shirt. Salise didn't mind too much though, at least Artemisth was suddenly in a better mood.
The oiling feels nice, you should wait for Yours to finish, Artemisth informed Baccuth. Her tone was a bit more curt with him than it had been with her sister.
Salise decided she could probably rinse the oil out with the lakewater but mostly just got herself more wet. "Thanks," she replied to Rosalind quietly. "Baccuth is very pretty too. Or handsome, if he prefers that." She smiled faintly.

Aresth was in a terrible mood, he was hungry but he couldn't eat!? Who's stupid idea was that! R'mal Walked Soberly beside his dragon, he too not impressed that his dragon's protests of hunger. Truth be told there wasn't much either of them could do about it.
I itch, let's get this over with so I can eat the brown said as he came out of the water. He hadn't looked the slightest bit dirty, nor did he look all that clean but at least they coould make him shine with a bit of oil.

I'sif could barely get Zeuth to hold still so he could scrub him properly; the blue was excited to be around so many of the other dragonets and was impatient for his rider to get the scrubbing and oiling done so he could start socializing.
Raise your left wing please.
Zeuth did obediently but when I'sif had finished with it and moved to his neck, the blue brought the wing down on the water hard, splashing water at I'sif.
Irate, I'sif glared at the blue, wiping the water out of his eyes and picking disgustedly at his wet tunic. "Zeuth, you sharding wherry!" He whacked the blue'e neck petulantly but it hurt him more than it hurt Zeuth.
Hurry up, I'sifmine! Look at all the pretty barreds and greens!
Scowling, he led the blue out of the water and took up the oil, rubbing it studiously into Zeuth's soft hide, fingers tracing the lighter blue mark reverently. Zeuth fidgeted still, but on the whole tried his hardest to be good.
You can go now if you want.
The blue crooned to his, eyes spinning happily as he went off to join the other dragonets. Good morning ladies, Baccuth, Apolleth! Isn't this wonderful? Zeuth was polite to the other males (excluding Aresth--Zeuth hadn't forgotten the brown's rudeness toward him on their Hatching day) but was primarily interested in the females that were there.

Your chirpiness annoys me, be quite. You will only annoy them too Aresth seemed the hate his blue brother more then anythign else. No, no hate, he loathed blue Zeuth. He just thought he was soooooo much better then everyone else. But for the moment he lay prefectly still, he couldn't do anything while R'mal rubbed the oil into his brown hide.
It felt good, the itchiness disappearing and R'mal being quite gentle yet thorough as he worked. Since his hatching oiling could be the third thing he's liked, eating and sleeping being the first two. They wont like you if your mean to them R'mal interupted his thoughts. Never would he mention that so far he had said nothing wrong about his sisters, only his brothers.
I don't need them to like me, and Zeuth is annoying. If he doesn't watch it I'll show him to be respectful to those larger then he. Now there's an itch on my right shoulder just...that's better

At least she had beaten her green sisters to the lesson, she was proud of that as she wandered over to where Artemisth and Minervath were getting oiled, it was already becoming clear that Herath prefered them over her silly green sisters. Getting herself wet she almost purred at Asha's hands rubbing in the sweet sand all over her itchy hide. Her lithe almost whip like body and tail making it somewhat easier on Asha to clean the small green.
Before long she was washed and had moved herself closer to her Barred sisters, standing utterly still as Asha began to rub the oil into her hide. She crooned loudly in pleasure, yes that felt real good on her dryish hide. Much better she wasn't itching as much now. Smiling at the others she laughed at Herath's croon of delight.
"I'm Asha, this is Herath, you are?"
She asked adressing Minervath's and Artemisth's riders.

Salise turned with a little surprise to look at Asha when she spoke; her Barred seemed happy enough to converse but the rider hadn't been especting to chat so much. "I'm Salise, and that's Artemisth." She smiled as faintly as she spoke and gave the Barred dragon's forehead a slight rub.
Hello Herath, Artemisth greeted the Green cheerfully. The oiling had definitely softened the Barred's mood.
