Because Sparrow is obsessed with music that no-one seems to listen to I love this game...
How to play? (In case someone doesn't know O.o) Whoever is 'it' can post a few lines from a song they know, but not what the song is. :3 People then guess what that song is and who sang it and the first one to get it right gets to be 'it' and post their own lyrics.
There are a few rules...
1. Don't post whole songs, that's lame. Usually 1-5 lines is good... I like to post 2 or 3. 2. If you can, avoid posting lines that have the title of the song in them. xD That sort of... gives it away. (Although it is really funny when someone does that and everyone gets it wrong.) 3. If you don't know, go ahead and use Google or something to find out what the song could be. We could be getting some pretty obscure songs... 4. When you post an answer, be sure to put the title of the song and who sang it or what movie/musical it's from.
Sparrow gets to go first! =D

Paralyzer by Finger Eleven. "But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake." Are there any limits to languages?

...I think it would be easiest if you kept the songs in English, but I guess you could do stuff in other languages. :3

Newgrange by Clannad. I totally had to google it. But that sounds like a really interesting band. "You've been discreet But there were so many people you just had to meet Without your clothes..."

David Bowie - Changes? (I've heard it done by different people... just the first name that showed up on Google since I can't remember artists... xP)
lol Kat, I've never heard it done by Clannad... Sparrow listens to Celtic Women and they sing a lot of already-done songs better. >.> And did you find my first song without Google? *would be amazed if you hadn't*
Anyways, Sparrow's song...
"I stand on a precipice I struggle to keep my balance I open myself, I open myself one stitch at a time"
Sparrow's favorite song ever... >.>

Yeah, David's version. *huggles the amazing one*
Lessee...haven;t heard this one in a while.
Goodbye until Tormorrow, from the Last Five Years soundtrack.
How high does the sycamore grow? If you cut it down, then you'll never know, And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon For whether we are white or copper skinned
^dreadfully easy chestnut^
I think if you know where the quote comes from, it'd be more difficult than the lyrics...oh well. It's what I'm listening to at the moment.

Colors of the wind as sung by Vanessa Williams in Pocahontas - I think i got my info striaght
Wrapped in the spring wind, describing a far-away dream, the white clouds of summer scatter and vanish. Autumn sky, so full of sorrow; Winter sea, so brim with chill. Losing ourselves in the passing of time.
