Amirinth was apparently the first one up this time, and probably would have liked to go back to sleep but she had business to attend to first. Strath... she had liked him. But he was too lazy during the Flight, which wasn't good. Something different, which had caught her attention, but not something she liked. At least he was stronger than those silly Blues.
Maybe it was that she was older than most of the dragons that chased her that gave Amirinth more energy. Many of them were only a Turn or two out of Weyrlinghood; Amirinth had seven Turns behind her and plenty of time to learn how to keep her Flights long. The Blues complained, but she suspected the bigger dragons liked this. But Strath... eh. He would leave her weyr today, oh yes.
Such a nice morning, isn't it, lovely Brown? It wasn't really morning at alll, but early afternoon. Amirinth didn't care much, but she would like to see if he agreed. Males often just said yes to whatever Amirinth commented, as though that was supposed to make her like them more.
K'laon yawned and shifted in bed, not quite as ready to be getting up and getting his partner out as Amirinth was. He didn't want a weyrmate either, but he did like the feel of someone else there with him. How long does Strath get, bug?
Amirinth only gave her rider a sideways glance. D'lis and Strath needed to be awake before she could kick them out. Reactions in sleep could be funny... but not quite as interesting as when people knew what was going on.

Strath stirred. Raising his head slightly to look around him, making sure of where he was, he shifted closer to Amirinth. Her question made his foggy mind clear a little, and look around.
It was an ok day he supposed, it could be better. There were clouds. The day would be better without clouds in the sky, beautiful Amirinth. It is a good morning though. He lazily laid his head down on his fore-paws and looked on at the bowl and day before him.
D'lis didn't get anymore sleep either, feeling a stir beside him. He didn't want to open his eyes, the other rider was a male...and he wasn't too keen on male bed-fellows. Flight-lust was flight-lust though, so he turned to look over at K'laon.
" Mornin' K'laon. I really can't believe Strath won...he's so lazy." D'lis shook his head. What a day...what a day.

Amirinth rumbled happily. Amirinthlove enjoys the clouds, they are fluffy and fun to fly through. Nope, he hadn't noticed that it wasn't really morning anymore... at least not by Amirinth's standards.
K'laon chuckled. "You never know with Amirinth." The dragon seemed to be waiting for someone to catch on to whatever she was thinking about... after a bit of probing, he learned she mostly seemed quite concentrated on how it wasn't morning. Whatever that had to do with anything, he had no idea. Amirinth was weird.
"Think J'ran will have training planned today?" K'laon smirked. Pity D'lis and Strath weren't in his Wing, K'laon didn't plan on having Flight training just after Amirinth Rose. Anyone who had just won a Flight probably wouldn't be looking forward to that either.
Amirinth rumbled. Amirinth can ask Ekirith so she can make sure these two are out in time. These words were only for K'laon and he vaguely shook his head. It would probably be more interesting to see what D'lis had to say.

Strath gurgled. They are indeed, but they could also mean rain. I really don't like rain much...usually. Strath was beginning to wonder just what made this Green tick. She was an odd one, much on the opposite scale as himself. Why had she chosen him.
Strath stretched a little and then placed his head next to Amirinth's forepaws.
D'lis however cursed delicately under his breath. " I really hope not. I don't feel much like doing anything today." He ran a hand through his hair. Sweaty. He didn't even want to think about what had happened after the Flight really. He looked at his bare chest and sighed.
" I should really put some clothes on." He was suddenly uncomfortable about being naked.

Amirinth rumbled and nudged Strath's shoulder. Rain is fun to fly in too. It makes Amirinthlove's hide sparkle. She liked being wet, very much. Unless, of course, K'laon was bathing her. Then it was more important he got wet.
K'laon laughed. "Go ahead." Better D'lis had clothes on before Amirinth banned him, he figured. He should probably get dressed too... but Amirinth quickly informed him of how fun it would be to chase someone who, so far, didn't seem too interested in men or knowing what had gone on, out of the weyr naked.
You do most of the chasing though, he reminded her. Amirinth's eyes whirled playfully as she reminded him that didn't mean Hers couldn't join. Maybe they could wait and see if the clouds would start raining for them too and make things that much more interesting, seeing as Strath apparently didn't like rain.

Strath gurgled lightly at that. True, then beautiful Amirinth becomes a shining star...brighter than any star in the sky. Something was up, Strath knew, he could feel it in the air of this weyr.
D'lis sighed and heavily got up to a sitting position on the side of the bed. He looked around for his shirt and pants. " It really shouldn't be this difficult to find my clothes." He laughed as he found his shirt right next to his feet.
Pulling that on, he continued to look for his pants around the room. Where were they?

Usually when it rains there are no stars, Amirinth rumbled. Only the dark clouds. And those she didn't like as much. K'laon didn't let her fly in them either, fearing lightning or some such other possibly dangerous thing.
Look how the clouds rain for us! Amirinth could swear she saw a raindrop glisten past and fall down to the Weyr Bowl. The clouds weren't thick enough to get a real downpour, but she did like sprinkles.
K'laon yawned. "Do you not win Flights much?" Clothes had a habit of hiding, as far as the Greenrider could tell. "And you seem to be missing your bottom half." K'laon didn't know where D'lis's pants were, but that made it that much more fun to poke fun at. Amirinth watched D'lis sideways, wondering if he would ever get done dressing. Half-naked was a fun way to shoo people out too... but she would prefer he got his clothes wet today.

D'lis grinned slightly. " Not many K'laon. Strath is lazy, and well..I'm not much fun it seems." He finally saw his pants over in a corner. How did they get there? " Still...one every now and then is welcome I guess. Better for Strath than myself." He talked as he walked over to pick his pants up and put them on quickly.
" Sharding boots now, they shouldn't be hard to find."
Strath looked out at the clouds and Weyr Bowl. It was starting to sprinkle. They rain for you Amirinth. You love their gifts, I'm not a favorite of theirs. He nuzzled her slightly, almost aware of what was going to happen soon.

Amirinth gurgled. You must learn to enjoy it then. Time to go! She stood up and stretched, her tail flicking cheerfully. Despite her easy-going movements, the Green kept a wary eye on the Brown. Sometimes the males didn't take her suggestion to heart and leave, sometimes they fought. She didn't like that... and always won anyways.
D'lis hasn't found his boots yet, K'laon commented, sitting up and nudging one that had ended up on the floor on his side. Surely a dragonrider could survive going barefoot for a bit though... or maybe D'lis would pick up his pace suddenly. "Flights are always good for the dragons," K'laon agreed cheerfully. "Amirinth says it's time to go though."

Strath nodded his wedged head. Of course. I guess it's time to leave D'lis. Get your boots and let's go. He nuzzled Amirinth again. He wasn't much for fighting with mates.
D'lis nodded as Strath told him. " Well...time to go apparently. Hand me that boot please?" He found the other one on accident under the edge of the bed. He got up and stretched.
" Well...thanks for the words this morning. See you around I guess K'laon." D'lis wasn't much for words, especially not after such a Flight.

Amirinth sat down, her mood beginning to almost border on sulky. It's more exciting when they argue, she told K'laon unhappily.
I guess Strath isn't going to be the dragon who Flies you twice, K'laon laughed. They're still here, you can make a scene. While Amirinth considered that, the Greenrider picked up D'lis's boot and strode around the bed to hand it to him. "I don't know what words, but Amirinth checked with Ekirith and says that your Wing does have training today."
Well, she hadn't asked, but K'laon guessed it was possible. "Lucky you," he added with a wink. At least seeing D'lis's face fall would be interesting. "Bye!" The short man laughed and leaned against Amirinth's side. She gurgled.
Have fun, lovely Brown. She watched the rain. This is a lovely day for training. You can pretend the raindrops are Thread. Those would be very hard to dodge.

D'lis took the boot and grimaced. " Practice? Shards. For the little talk this morning K'laon, sometimes it's just 'Good morning, get out.' But we'll get now, and see you around. Let's go Strath before it starts raining harder!"
D'lis vaulted to the Brown's back as Strath looked over at Amirinth. It was a pleasure lovely Green. Hopefully Thread never falls this bad.[/i] The dragon gave the Green a final gentle nuzzle before taking off.
" Well, they weren't that rude about throwing us out."

Well, that wasn't as exciting as it could have been. Amirinth sighed huffily. Such an easy exit was a lot of points off for Strath; she would have to remember to be not so gracious with whoever won her next Flight. He didn't even complain about the rain.
"Is Ekirith actually having training today?" K'laon started dressing and glanced at Amirinth, who quickly checked.
When the rain lets up. And it will soon, this isn't hard at all. She watched the glistening drops of water, but her wings still ached from the day before and stopped her from flying out into them.
"Well, I'm sure D'lis won't be happy about having to fly even a short distance in wet clothes. Don't worry bug." He laughed and gave Amirinth's shoulder a slap. She gurgled; maybe watching Strath for the rest of the day would pay off for the not so exciting wake-up this early afternoon. He hadn't ever caught on that it wasn't morning, had he? Silly Brown.
