Gwen shook his head. "Tyrth doesn't want to be cute. I think it's because it reminds him too much that he's the smallest dragon on Pern."
Tyrth hrmphed. "See." His rider gave the white dragon an arch look. "Smallest body, biggest ego. I think that somehow he got a bronze's."
But if I was bronze, I would have had to have settle for being ridden by a man.
Gwen...collapsed laughing. "Faranth, Tyrth..." The comments he came out with, at times...

"I'm sure that if he puts his mind to it that won't matter." Aleyi smiled at the little White. He was cute right now, but she was probably safer not saying that. "That Green that used to be our smallest dragon is a Wingleader, anyways."
It's hard to believe that soon I'll be flying under her.
I'm sure all Greens aren't as bad as you think. Of course, with Maideneth as a sister, it wasn't hard to see why Jerglith was so deterred by them. Aleyi looked up in surprise as Gwen suddenly burst out laughing. "What'd I just miss?"

"Tyrth just made a really sexist comment," Gwen managed.
What? It wasn't...
"Yes it was! He said if he was bronze he'd have had to settle for a guy. That's sexist!" she couldn't stop laughing, though. Honestly, dragons! They were as bad as kids for saying the darnedest things!
Every bit as bad as kids.
