"Help with your chores?" Aleyi considered this. "If you all help with mine too I could help with yours." She shrugged. They could get them done faster if all three worked together on all their chores, or so Aleyi figured, but it meant three times as many chores. Which was the better choice?
A fire-lizard? "Of course I would!" Aleyi grinned. But she couldn't afford to buy an egg; back at home fire-lizard eggs were pricey and Aleyi didn't expect that to change here. A Candidate with practically no Marks to her name would have a hard time getting a flitt...
She grinned at Zuris. "Yeah... how do you think you do that at a Weyr?" If Sabine had been here a while and hadn't gotten a ride, was it likely that they could get a rider to give her one? Aleyi had no idea.
Now someone else walked in, looking rather frazzled and hungry. The knots on her shoulder Aleyi recognized as something important, but couldn't bring to mind just what they were at the moment. They weren't a Candidate's knots anyways. As the woman came to sit near her Aleyi watched her yawn and figured that whatever the knots were for, it was probably something where people didn't get a lot of sleep.
"You look tired," she pointed out. Klah was a good solution for that... it was a good thing the woman had some.

C'it had been listening to their little conversation about chores and dragon rides. It made him smile.
You wouldn't mind giving this lovely Candidate a ride would you Roluth? He asked the Blue before supplying his services.
No, as long as you don't make this a regular thing Mine. Came the lazy reply. He must be sunning.
C'it grinned, clearing his throat. " Roluth and I would be happy to give Sabine a ride! That is, if it remains our little secret...Roluth doesn't want to become a ferry."
Zuris grinned back at C'it. " There! That's done! Now you just have to find C'it when you want that ride!" Zuris was glad that this was all going rather smoothly. Then the exhausted looking woman came up. She had Healer knots on, and she looked overly tired...must mean she's important, Zuris thought.
" You are welcome to sit and eat here. My name is Zuris...and my fire-lizard is Whim...wherever that little Brown is at!" Whim was always going off to find crazy things to eat.

Telat entered the dining and looked around saw that there were already other people already here. He did not suspect this would turn out well, but he wanted to get dome food anyway so he walked were he could carefully avoid them and pretend he had not noticed them. He would not admit it, but the reason he did not talk to them was more fear then anything esle so he got him self some food and found a place to sit alone. Yet once he sat down and started to eat his firelizard started to get other idea's. Iron then took off form Telat's shoulder and flew over to the table with the people and landed on Zuris's shoulders and chriped a greeting at him. Now at the moment Telat was a little angry at the flit, but he could not falt the little creature for wanting to socialize so he did not say anything and just kept eating.

Nixsha looked up, as she sipped her Klah, her eyes watching the people around her. "Names Nixsha, Master Healer" She said as she returned to eating, and listening to their conversation in silence. Her head tilted down as she started to catalog a few things in her mind. She looked up again, as she eyed the flitter, she frowned faintly and dug in her pockets a minute, counting her marks. "When's the next clutch?" she wondered aloud, mostly because she needed one of those damn things for messages. "Do you happen to know the next Fire-lizard clutch?"
