Izzy was never so glad to have two feet on the ground in her entire life. The ride adragonback was the most exciting thing that had ever happened to her in her entire life, albeit a bit scary. Of course if she was going to impress she was going to have to get use to it. She thanked the greenrider who had brought her and then turned to look around her new home.
It was big, very big. Much bigger than her seaside hold. Her first thoughts were she was going to get lost so many times, but then she figured that she would learn her way around in no time. She still couldn't believe she was here. Never in her wildest dreams did she, Izzy, ever think she would possibly be worthy of a dragon. She wondered what a hatching was like, she'd never been to one before. She'd heard stories of course, but that wasn't the same as knowing for one's self.
What was she suppose to do now? 'The rider told me to report to the Candidate Master so I can get a room in the barracks.' She told herself. So she headed towards what appeared to be a crowded area. Perhaps someone there could point her out to the Candidate Master.

Zukah was becoming quite comfortable with her living quarters here at the weyr, but she had to if she was rarely seen outside the barracks. It sometimes took a little more then a push for her to do anything, not that she was shy and deffinately not dimwitted. It was just that she had a few trust issues and more with herself then others. She had seen her loved ones show ugly sides as terrifying as thread, and no person should get that scary...
On one of her breif sighting outside she saw a girl she had never seen before, looking a little lost and hopeful. Must be a new candidate, she thought to herself as they all looked the same, quickening her pace. If she hurried around and passed the girl then maybe she wouldn't be singled out. Zukah was one of if not the oldest girl and the tallest to show. She only wished that she had been smaller, no one reconised them...
