The Riders were formed as a sort of peace treaty between the elves and the dragons. Humans were lucky to be included in the magical bonding, though they didn't arrive until three centuries later.
The headquarters of the Riders was Doru Araeba, in the center of the island Vroengard. The wild dragons would give the elves a few eggs each year in order to keep the tradition of Riders. At the time, only elves were Riders, seeing as humans had not yet arrived in Alagaësia.
This role play is set in that time; based on the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, yet set in a time where the Riders flourished, before the Fall, and after the treaty.
Alagaësia is an intermediate role play (each post=100+ words) that encourages creativity and thoughtful, worked-on, posts. Hard work is appreciated here, and is what will make Alagaësia grow.
