R'mer lay on his back in the water, floating easily. Of course, he was not exactly about to drown, given the large blue shape nearby.
Tinth could easily pluck his rider out of the lake should he be in any danger. The fact that the dragon was equally relaxed, floating with his blue wings spread across the surface?
That probably indicated that the position the young rider was in was quite deliberate. He was watching the sky above, a few assorted firelizards flittering across the lake. They seemed in no hurry, chittering and gossiping as they went. Thunder, his blue, had flown up to join them.
No hurry at all. It was almost too relaxing a day. Almost too much, the bluerider was, in fact, even a little bit...well. Bored.
Yeah, more than a little bit bored, in fact. "I need something to do," he told his dragon.
We could go flying...but that would involve moving.
"Lump."

Amirinth was not about to let anyone just lie in any body of water as if it were just a rippling bed. Anyone who dared enter her domain- it was hers when she was there and a queen wasn't, anyways- was required to have some sort of near-death experience.
How about just well soaked? Amirinth drowning other riders was the last thing K'laon needed.
Amirinthlove has no plans to get anyone wetter than they ought to be. Not about to waste time heeding her rider's words, Amirinth galloped towards and into the lake, half-spreading her wings to add to her entrance tital wave. Tinth! What are you doing, leaving the water to be serene?! She made a beeline for the Blue, her eyes whirling a playful but pale blue to express her mock shock.
K'laon rolled his eyes and hovered at the lakeshore, unsure of how much he wanted to be splashed that day and knowing if he went in he would get far more than his share. Although, considering that waiting where he was would only lead to his clothes getting soaked too, K'laon undressed and headed into the water.
"I can only hope you were waiting for some excitement," K'laon followed in Amirinth's wake, but towards the rider rather than the Blue. "Amirinth'll plot something nasty with Tinth here to help her." Maybe they'd get lucky and, for once, they would see a male resist the hopes of a potential mate for laziness.
Not likely though.

R'mer laughed a bit. "What are they going to do? Drench me? I'm already wet." As that probably was the greatest danger, the young bluerider was currently fairly safe.
Tinth, unfortunately, was not in a position where he could easily evade the incoming green. He started to furl his wings so he could turn or dive. I don't much feel like moving, Amirinth, Tinth mock complained.
"And we might be safe. Tinth is in one of his 'I don't want to be bothered' moods." Unfortunately, Amirinth was a very attractive female...and Tinth would, no doubt, chase her again at some point. He quite liked her.
Much to R'mer's...no, not disgust. He still found it hard not to think of K'laon as an authority figure rather than as a potential lover. Oh well. Flights didn't count. Everyone who had lived at a Weyr for any length of time knew that, except for the occasional insanely jealous type. Even they usually learned...eventually.
Tinth's eyes were whirling a little faster and his wings were no longer spread, but he had not really moved yet.

K'laon shrugged. "Maybe they'll dry you off." If he didn't care about getting wet...
Amirinth gazed up at Tinth sadly. Not moving is for right after eating. Accordering to her habits, anyways. She looked around, as if making sure that Tinth couldn't possibly have just hunted. Right now you're in a lake.
"Well, if he can hold that up I suppose we're safe." Amirinth would happily spend forever pleading were she to come upon a male who didn't eventually do what she wanted. "But it won't do him any good next time she rises." K'laon laughed. The Green had a surprisingly long memory for favors- or lack of them.
Not that it mattered much in the long run, especially since if Amirinth really planned to fill out her goal Tinth would have to win sometime.

OOC: Amirinth wants to sleep with every male in the Weyr, eh?
Tinth, finally, furled his wings, rolled over onto his back, and regarded Amirinth from that position, snorting at her.
"Dragons are so silly," R'mer pointed out. "All of them. Especially mine."
Of course, dragons were also very relaxed creatures. Most of the time. Tinth rolled over again, diving under the water.
"Maybe I should get out of the water," R'mer added. He could sense Tinth's mischief, bubbling beneath the surface. The blue was about to try something, but was not telling his rider what.
He didn't fancy getting swamped by an in-water collision between the two dragons, who might be small by *dragon* standards, but were still pretty large.
Nothing compared, of course, with a full grown gold. He was glad he didn't have that much dragon to...
...and Tinth launched himself out of the water towards Amirinth, swamping his rider. "TINTH!"
