Grumbles Incoherently (Tag, Inkith)

Iindi was in the infirmary, her fourth day at the Weyr and her thread score has already started causing trouble. Great! One of the healers had gone to get some numbweed for it, treating her like a poor sick little child. But she was trying to help, so Iindi held her tongue and tried to be nice. She fervently hoped that no one she knew walked through the door.

She was doing some running out by Crystal Lake and voila, she ended up, crying, on the ground, in the foetal position. She didn’t even notice who carried her here, but now she was in a very bad mood, she really didn’t want to talk to anyone. She didn’t look very good, tear tracks ran down her now rosy cheeks, she had grass stains all over her clothes, she was very sweaty and her headband has lost itself on the trip to the infirmary. She knew if she saw anyone looking like she did, she would not think very much of them.

At least I got some good running in, all these healers will tell me I can’t walk on it for at least a week, or some absurd spance of time like that..... Well good luck keeping ME in bed. No one in all my life has been able to keep me in bed when I didn’t want to! And I’m definitely not going to start now!




(Yes, now it will be easy for Transiit to insult her! ;D )

Transiit was taking a look around the Weyr getting to know her surroundings on the first day, and she was hoping to play some tricks on the other candidates. Transiit was heading into the infirmary, because she would probably be taking a few trips in here, not many people like her, actually no-one likes her. She walks into the infirmary and spies a girl, about her age maybe a little younger, she wasn't a pretty site, tear tracks down her face, she was all sweaty and she had nasty grass stains all over her clothes, but if she wasn't in such a dishiveld state, Transiit concluded that she would normally had been a pretty girl. Transiit decided to find out what she was made of.

"Wow, someone looks really ugly." She wanted to say something witter but she couldn't think of anything, the girl was really rather pretty, Transiit wasn't happy about that. "Couldn't you avoided the bush, or tree?" Did that even make sense? Eh probably not but this girl was even getting the attention of Grrym Wynter, and Wynter didn't like cry-babies, this girl was going to be interesting.......

(OOC I need Iindi to say a really witty comeback )

“I might have been able to, but I was blinded by your oh-so-ugly face,” Iindi replied in a very ‘snooty’ attitude, she sniffed then grimaced for extra emphasis.
“And please ‘someone’s looking ugly’,” Iindi snorted, “if you’re going to even try, come prepared next time, the insulting bit is you thought you could get away with something as pathetic as ‘someone’s looking ugly’. Amateur.” She scorned to new girl. Although this imposer didn’t look like much of a threat, and didn’t sound much like one either, she had insulted her. Most people wouldn’t try, especially since she was obviously in pain. Most people would have had a little more heart than that, which is why Iindi was actually intrigued to hear what this girl was going to say next.

"Shards!" exclaimed Transiit. This girl is good and I am having an off day I'm new and hungry, they should really have put the kitchens in an easier place to find AND I'm out of 'mean practice' because no-one had been worthy enough to be mean to AND Grrym Wynter liked this girl, and Grrym Wynter has a sense for a strong character, she wasn't even growling. "Next time I will come prepared for disaster with a face, good thing there are no mirrors around here or that horrible thing sitting on your neck would have cracked it." Ha take that, not as good as it should be but good enough.

Maybe I should make friends with the girl, she wouldn't certaintly be a good person to have on your side, and it looks like those fists could do a lot of damage to an unworthy face, lets just see what happens first.

Iindi framed innocence, “D..d..did y..you jus..s..st call m..me a d..d...Disaster?” she faded of whimpering, then started to fake cry..... and snapped out of it as quick as someone could blink. “No, I don’t think the mirrors would have cracked, that rats nest you call hair is sticking so far out from your head that you’re actually blocking my sunlight. Now I must admit that one was better, but you still need some long, and I mean loooooooooooooooooong lessons. I would teach you, but your mutt might get in the way”

Hmm.... that one certainly was better..... though I wish I had her hair, it is an AWESOME shade of red. Hopefully she doesn’t notice that though.

This girl is rather interesting..... and her mutt is very cute!!! Oh Shards.... I just sounded like Raiin..... YIKES! But I could see me becoming friends with this girl...... I appreciate her trying.... and she isn’t really that bad at being insulting...... she might just be having an off day..... she does seem to know what she’s doing...... so maybe she does have some currently hidden skill...... interesting.....

"Okay you did not just insult my hair," Transiit said in a very fake insulted tone, though she was actually proud of her hair. "Well maybe you should try and teach me, like it would do any good I am already ten-times better than you, maybe I should teach you some of my tricks and you teach me some of yours," Transiit didn't actually know that she was making friends with the girl as she was still offended by the insult to her hair and Transiit doesn't actually have ANY friends.

"Now I remember where i've seen you you're a candidate, I saw you at the lesson remember, Oh wait you wouldn't remember because as I con see here you were too busy, drowning in your tears." Oh take that girl.

“Well, you did get one semi-successful insult there..... So I do believe I will agree to teach you..... It would be embarrassing having to converse with you if I haven’t completely alienated you, or converted you to my particular way of living..... So I guess my answer shall be fine!”

Raiin hasn’t converted to my way of living...... but it IS annoying to be around her...... and I have converted Grei.... even though Raiin is slowly teaching him manners.... ARG! Must the goodie-two-shoes thwart my efforts at every turn..... But anyway this one could be great.... I’m not sure if we could be friends.... but being her master couldn’t hurt...... though it would be nice if she was my friend..... well..... I’d be nice for me!!!

"FINE," Transiit almost shouted, "Fine, then i'll teach you and you teach me, this is going to be interesting."
I'm not sure whether I am going to be able to teach this girl anything I've never taught someone my ways before............ This is definitely going to be interesting.....
"Fine, um wait we cant insult each other and teach each other without knowing our names....."
Im going to wait untill she answers, hey its not my fault I asked first....

"FINE! But I am not used to your twisted use of nick-names so you have to call me, um," Transiit had to think quickly,"er, you have to call me," Transiit looked around for some inpsiration, "er, TABLE! No thats even worse than your's, oh shards, Transiit then. FAIL FAIL FAIL! "Grrrrrrrr you're annoying," then Transiit stalked away very unhappy with herself.
