Amirinth was all pepped for a Flight. She hadn't really been thinking about it lately, but then... well, the day was just so nice and K'laon so unsuspecting, and she just felt it! It was time to Rise again, and of course she was always ready for such a desire, even when it took even her by surprise.
K'laon cursed softly when he felt the sudden rush of feeling from his dragon, but it was more out of habit. It had been a while since Amirinth last Rose, and he wouldn't mind a little fun. There wasn't anyone that he could think of that he wouldn't want winning, so that had to be good. He'd been feeling amiable lately, though maybe that was just the doing of the Weyr's mood towards the upcoming hatching and, of course, his own dragon.
In fact, K'laon even hummed a little as he headed up to Amirinth's weyr. The Green remained in the Weyr Bowl, fidgeting and checking her reflection in the lake with that sudden twinge of vanity that always hit her before a Flight. That didn't last long though- Amirinth thought she looked quite dashing with that slight tinge of violet in her eyes and her hide glowing like the noon sun.
With a cry of delight (and perhaps a touch of impatience), the little Green burst into the air.

Tinth exploded from his ledge so suddenly that R'mer's hair was mussed up. "Tinth!"
The blue did not respond with words so much as lust and an image of Amirinth.
Amirinth. K'laon would be hot if he wasn't so much too *old* for the young bluerider, but there was no avoiding it. He ran for the passages that would lead him to the greenrider's weyr, even as the blue circled once, angling around so that he would come in behind the green.
She was definitely a pretty green, and Tinth sensed no hesitation from his rider about this flight. After all, the rider was the right gender, for once, to interest R'mer. At least he had that.
After her, and the light catching off of steelish-blue wings, and the only thing that mattered was that particularly slender, elegant and pretty emerald tail.
He very much wanted that tail.
OOC: Failpost. Sorry.

Toath was a little disgruntled that his kept making him lose flights. He was so closely entwined with her, and her distaste for females bothered him a little. She should love to love - lust to lust. Form didn't matter - he would chase this time and she wouldn't stop him. He answered the call of the green bellowing as he took to the sky. Maybe it would do his some good - this green had a male bonded. She'd be happier that way, wouldn't she?
Meagen heard him take off groaning in frustration as she set aside her work. She had been working on more collars for the growing hoarde of firelizards that surrounded her. Hope had taken to gathering any firelizard that would bend to her beck and call. Now Meagen had problems finding her own in the flock that littered her weyrledge. She sighed as she walked to the edge, watching her dragon take off.
She tossed her work to the side and made her way to the chambers of the rider. Surprise crossing her face as she realized it was a male. This might prove interesting...

Easath bugled and launched himself into the air, barely giving his rider any warning. He wanted to claim Amirinth again. He felt sure that he could win her over once more and rekindle the romance that had existed for such a short time after her last Flight. He twirled through the air, crooning to the beautiful Green.
R'lyr sighed. His dragon was much too loyal for his own good. He doubted that Easath could catch Amirinth again. Greens rarely chose the same mate twice, unless their riders had some kind of connection to influence them...and he and K'laon certainly did not.
The route up to the rider's weyrs was familiar enough, and he could hear the footsteps of the other riders as they mad their way to K'laon's weyr. "So we meet again," he said dryly as he stepped into the greenrider's weyr.

Amirinth started with a sprint, making a beeline for nowhere in particular so long as it was away from the males that had risen up behind her. They were dangerous, coming for her when she didn’t want them. Not yet, at least. Perhaps she could lose them behind the Star Stones, but the Blues were agile and turning around a few boulders was really no trouble for any dragon. Amirinth rounded the formation nonetheless, but was gradually coming to realization that running so quickly would only tire her. Then the males would snatch her for sure. She slowed, turning a suspicious eye, whirling with a wary yellow as well as violet, on the males.
Her best chance was outmaneuvering them then- even the Blues could never be as agile as Amirinth. She ducked into a tight turn, twisting back down towards the bowl. She had tested her suitors’ speed, but how well could they really fly?
K’laon smiled slightly at R’lyr as the Bluerider greeted him. “So we do.” Knowing Amirinth, it wasn’t likely this particular meeting would last long.

Tinth shot after her, then caught a thought from his rider. The young blue slowed a little, saving some of his energy. He did, however, try to cut as close to the star stones as possible, both not to lose distance and to show off.
Twisting down after her, his wings shifting so that his weight went from one to the other, banking through the turns. This would be a fun flight even if there was not a sweet goal at the end of it, for one of them.
For one of them, and Tinth was determined it would be him...of course, he was the younger of the blues, least seasoned, least canny. Amirinth was definitely canny, a mature green with many Turns of flight behind her.
She was lovely, though. Age had not at all taken any edge off of her looks, and now she glowed with flight lust and flight strength.
She was so beautiful, and he crooned to her, softly, increasing speed a little to get closer to her, not wanting to risk being left far behind.
R'mer was a little out of breath. K'laon was, at least, male, but rather too old for him, but right now the other man was overlaid by 'Amirinth'. Green and rider were one. Blue and rider were one. Choices would be made...and he would either be with this man tonight or looking for somebody to slate his need with.
There was one pretty boy in the kitchens...if all else failed.

Meagen made it to the chambers a flush overtaking the rough candidate masters features. "Here now... sorry" She said as she looked up, her eyes glazing for a moment. There it was, she was gone and she and her dragon were together. She slipped in his eyes and he in hers, they were one. her eyes closed as a sigh left her - and she was swept up completely by lust.
Toath pushed forward, he may not have manuverability but he damn well had stamina! These little blues could wear themselves out. he might not be able to do tricks, but he was smart. Every move she made he mimiced it but taking a longer path. Some might say this would lose him speed, but his wings were bigger and he could fly farther. He darted ahead as she looked back crooning to the green princess before him. Come now, couldn't she love him?
She was gorgeous, and he had yet to catch a female in all of the flights he'd been in. He wanted her so badly wanted the beautiful green. So he pushed faster - large wings pounding hard.

Easath darted after Amirinth, keeping up with her sprint easily. He followed her turns through the Star Stones fairly easily, agilely weaving around the formation. When she turned to scrutinize them, he threw in a barrel roll, trying to impress her.
Briefly he glanced at the other two competitors, blue and brown. The brown was too bulky to complete the maneuvers as well as he could, but he couldn't be written off completely. Easath swung his head back around to concentrate on Amirinth, the only really important dragon in this equation. If he could win her over, he wouldn't have to worry about the big brown.
Her tight turn took him by surprise, and he followed clumsily, flailing a little in the air. He recovered himself quickly and sped up, determined not to let Amirinth out of sight.

Amirinth rumbled softly, not missing Easath's stumble, and then twisted upwards again. It was kind of cute, seeing the Blue mess up a little... but not so good if he wanted to win her a second time. Overconfidence. As she climbed, Amirinth took up a loose zig-zag pattern. With each turn, she could see the males behind her easily, and without having to turn her head back.
You're a bit slower than Amirinth remembers, Tinthlove. She couldn't help but comment to the younger Blue as they flew. He could croon all he wanted, but Toath was bigger, his croon was more attractive. The Brown was impressing her so far with his flying abilities as well... it left Tinth and Easath with plenty of work to do, not that Toath could slack off yet either.
Keeping ahead of a bunch of dragons bigger than herself was tiring though- all three didn't have a lot more time to impress her. Amirinth slackened into a wide arc, following the curve of the Weyr Bowl she had brought her followers well above. A Green, she couldn't be entirely won over by power. Displaying the extent of his flying ability would be the only way for a dragon to win.

Toath pushed himself harder - he could feel faint bits of strain starting. But no sleep was descending upon him. He crooned out to her again - pulling off a daring maneuver for a brown. He looped around unto his back, and then barrled for a few moments. To not fall from the sky and still manage to stop in time for his turn to follow her - that was pretty damn good for a brown! He wanted her - so badly. He would be the first she had ever one, so precious to him! So gorgeous to him! His Green Princess.
She could turn him from a simple toad - into a Prince of the skies. If only she would chose him? If only he could win her affections. This was exactly what Toath/Meagen ached to prove to her - as she curved along the Weyrbowl. So he pushed harder - a quick pump of his wings - a strong backdraft going behind him as he pushed himself forward - much faster and harder then he had before. But still keeping pace with her and not overshooting her.

Tinth shot forward as Amirinth crooned. He was saving his energy, not slow! But now...there was no more time for that.
She had to be tiring. The blue was sure she was tiring. And he had a brown to outfly...always a challenge. He was lucky none of the bronzes and tans had turned out.
Of course, their riders were probably putting them off, whilst his...oh, his would definitely like to jump in the furs with K'laon, now he was a little older and it did not feel quite so 'ohmygoditstheweyrlingmaster'.
Tinth slipped sideways, getting closer to her, crooning again. No. He was not slow. Or rather, he was as slow as he chose to be. Now he proved that he could, indeed, keep up when he needed to.
And he had plenty of energy left, but Toath had more. That was inevitable and invariable. There was nothing he could do about being a blue against a brown. Except use what he did have to its fullest extent.

((…you guys make my life so hard. *flails*))
It had been a fun Flight, entertaining suitors, but all the running had worn Amirinth out. She watched the final efforts of her followers, only barely keeping herself out of their reach. They knew it was ending; they were all speeding up, closing in on her.
Well, she was ready to just accept that and let someone catch her. Toath was impressive, so powerful but agile as well- she liked him despite his drab color. Tinth was far more interesting to look at. Easath had won her last time. If Amirinth was ever to complete her goal… she had to stay out of his reach.
With that on her mind, Amirinth took the extra precaution of twisting away from the older Blue. It was an ill-timed turn though, and sent her almost barreling into Tinth. Surely he would take advantage of her sudden close proximity though, and Amirinth corrected herself only to sidle up against the Blue, choice made.
She rumbled softly as she twined neck and tail with him. There, all you needed was to fly a little faster.

OOC: Amirinth wants to conquer every male dragon in the Weyr? Slut! And the two dragons entwined, one into the other. He had saved his energy for the right moment and...now she was his. Not for long, but Tinth did not remember well enough and would not remember well enough to care about that. His rider, in K'laon's weyr might...K'laon was older, yes, but certainly an attractive man. Right now, though, in dragonlust, it was unlikely R'mer's clothes would survive this experience...the dragons entwining, the riders reaching for one another. Tomorrow might be rather awkward, but tonight was all theirs. OOC: Fail. Sorry. I ALWAYS suck at flight ending posts, from either side *laugh*.

Meagen's hope died as she withdrew - her eyes closing for a moment. The rejection hurting her almost as much as it did Toath. So many times - so many people. Were they not good enough? They were good enough for candidates - but never a mate. That was their fate it seemed. So she withdrew even further and left the weyr. Retreating to her now landing dragon and her own bed. That seemed to be the safest place for them.
