I don't think it's a good idea, I know it's a great idea!

Nalel watched as three more eggs broke open, leaving only two unopened. There were two Charcoal dragons, and a Teal. They headed toward the boys together. The Teal dragon started going behind them, and Nalel did his best to ignore his stalking gaze.
One of the Charcoal dragons Impressed to a boy along with spraying sand all over him. The Teal knocked his Impressed over. Nalel wondered why they did that. With his attention turned, Nalel was completely surprised when he heard the voice in his head. N’lel, I am hungry. And that Teal is insane. Can we eat quickly and get away from him? And possibly all of them? There is no reason for Hearth to have to waste his time with dragons like them.
N'lel looked down at Hearth. He had, somehow, Impressed to this dragon. "Alright Hearth, we can go" N'lel murmured to the dragon.

Rivkah could hardly believe it when one of the new red and black dragonets launched towards him. He was all set to jump back when the hatchling stopped just at his feet. R’kah! Claudiuth is here! Does the sand burn you? You’re going to have to ignore it, I am very hungry.[/color] "Claudiuth" He whispered in amazement, then a realization hit him, he had impressed and a smile lit his face. He crouched down beside his hatchling and scratched Claudiuth's eye ridge. "We will get you some food presently Claudiuth." He straightened up and looked for where the food was and started to walk towards it with his head held high. Claudiuth walked along beside him, stumbling occassionally as he tried to walk too fast.

Kyrissa watched the three newest dragonets with amusement, having to stifle a laugh as the teal pounced on it's chosen. She soon realized that all three of them had impressed and looked at the remaining eggs. There were two, just two eggs left and she got the sinking feeling that she might not impress after all. Well wouldn't that just be my luck? she thought. She wanted to bow her head but she kept it up and her gaze fixed on the last two eggs.

Daraco was watching the interesting stand off of the two red and black dragons when he felt himself do a face plant in the sand, and something heavy on his back.
What’re you doing there, D’raco? Do you like these sands? I think they’re rather hot against my feet. Well, actually, maybe they weren’t too bad, but it hurt my belly. Well, maybe they didn’t, I think that actually my belly is hurting on the inside. Lupercaliath is hungry! Yes! That’s it! Hungry! Get up and feed me, my D’raco!
Of all the dragons he could have Impressed, he had to get the crazy one! With a quick movement, D'raco shouldered his dragon off, and got his first look at his very own Teal.
Vinny cocked his head at the exuberant dragonet with an air of disbelief, while Gory hissed angrily.
"Lupercaliath, pull yourself together!" he ordered, shaking the sand out of his curly hair.
Why? I didn't- why doesn't he like me? That was mean! My tummy hurts. Fix it, D'raco!
Mumbling to himself about crazy hatchlings, D'raco led his Impressed somewhere he could eat.

Three males had hatched all at once. Izzy swallowed nervously, past the dryness of her throat and mouth. Was she ready fo such a step? Maybe she should never have left home. As always, when she was nervous, she buried her fingers into Strife's sandy coat, reassuring herself that everything was alright. As long as she had Strife, the world was okay. She could only see one other candidate standing, another girl. Two candidates, two eggs. She dragged in a deep, shaky breath as she watched the other eggs that were in no hurry to hatch.

It was all Illia could do be stare as one of the hatchlings came over to her, her silvery gaze locked on the creature's pale forme. Then, the dragon spoke to her, her entire body immediately filling with the welcome warmth of recognition. She had Impressed. Her heart beat against her chest, and it was all she could do but prevent her knees from collapsing beneath her as she listened to the Barred's voice in her mind.
Julieth tilted her head to the side as her Chosen made no response to her inquieries. She gave a flick of her tail, immediately pressing her head against the young girl as she again urged at her with her mind voice. IlliaineMine do you not like your Julieth? I am hungry, let us be fed. she said. That was all it took to free Illia of the momentary spell.
You more than I could have ever asked for, my beautiful Julieth... she replied mentally, earning a satisfied croon from the young dragonet before the girl shakily lead the Barred away to get fed, her legs still shaky and unstable at the entire realization of it all. She was going to be a DragonRider... the rest of the hatching remained forgotten in her mind. After all, nothing was no longer as important as the beautiful dragonet at her side.
It was all poor Frea could do but swoop after her Favourite as she left the sands, chittering wildly at her new, larger Barred sister as she came to a perch on Illia's shoulder [though nearly tripped on her own wings in the meanwhile]. [/blockquote]

Finally the brown-green egg decided to hatch, and the eggshell fell away to reveal a Tan much more handsome than its original container had been. He had lighter stripes than most of his color, but a powerful build and strode cheerfully away from the shards, not the slightest bit worried by them. He had received a lot of coddling while an egg because of that, anyways, even if he had no plans whatsoever to Impress a female. Instead, the Tan made his way to where all Tans before him had, to the boys, and gave one a friendly bump as he Impressed. Now only one egg remained, the larger of the bronze-orange eggs. The hatchling within wasn’t a queen, but it was perfectly ready give this Hatching the finale and Violet or Gold with. First a deep, indigo nose poked out, then withdrew, only to be replaced by a paw that clawed and pushed at the hole until there was space for two, then a whole head stuck out, its color deep as midnight but with a sky blue blaze running up the nose. This Sky knew how to make herself look fancy, oh yes. She gradually slunk completely out of the egg, then gave herself a good shake. It was easy to see that this Sky was the largest hatchling of the clutch, and she made her way towards the girls with a regality her Violet mother was sure to be proud of. There weren’t many girls remaining, but the Sky made a point to pay a little attention to each one, just to make sure they didn’t feel left out right now, even if most would in the near future. The line ended with the girl this Sky wanted, and she ducked her head slightly as she arrived at her chosen, suddenly switching her royal look to subservient. Sorry for making you wait, KyrissaMine, but Opheliath is here now.~~~ Dragon Color and Name: Tan Cupith Name Origin: The Roman name for one of Aphrodite’s more famous sons, Cupid is said to shoot heart-tipped arrows that make people fall in love. Age: Hatchling Appearance: A larger Tan, Cupith is just over 40 meters in length. He is also one of the few Tans that are truly tan in color, and his stripes are a more ashy gray than black. Unlike most Tans, whose back stripe start at their forehead, Cupith’s starts at the tip of his nose and carries on from there. He has a somewhat heavier build, but with a longer-than-average tail, he can make up with the lack of flexibility that gives him. Personality: Cupith is a playful and very outgoing Tan. He is easy to please and can always find something to smile about. Little frightens him, just as he would much rather never be frightening (except, of course, to Thread). Cupith easily gets along with everyone who wants to be gotten along with, and will make an effort to be friends with those that don’t, even if it does nothing but bother him. There is one thing that gets on his nerves though- Kagen. He thinks the whole idea of a bunch of little rodent-things hopping around and squeaking is just beyond annoying. Color Code: tan or D2B48C ((Adoptable!)) Dragon Color and Name: Sky Opheliath Name Origin: In Hamlet, Ophelia mentions Valentines Day several times. .o. Age: Hatchling Appearance: Ophelia is the epitome of a Sky. At 42 meters in length, she rivals even some Bronzes in size, and her predominately indigo hide gives her a dark, sort of mystical appearance. Like most Skies, Opheliath’s stomach is more of a sky blue and smudged with faded whites. The star-specks on her back are a metallic yellow, and are very small along with being very few. Along with the sky blue of her underside trailing up to Opheliath’s throat and along the bottom of her jaw, it covers the very tip of her muzzle and traces in a thin blaze up to her forehead. Personality: Despite her commanding appearance, Opheliath is surprisingly quiet. She enjoys the company of smaller dragons and is willing to talk with everyone. Her friendliness often seems like a sympathetic sort of kindness though, as though she secretly thinks that she’s better than everyone and pities them for not being quite as great as her, and for that reason goes out of her way to be nice to everyone. Her voice is very effeminate and always seems a bit sad, and in posture Opheliath always seems a bit tired, as though she feels that with her greatness (not that she’d let on to anyone that she thinks she’s great) comes a great and exhausting weight. Being kind to everyone is hard work, anyways. Color Code: indigo(4b0082) and deepskyblue(00BFFF)

Kyrissa noticed the first of the last two eggs hatch and reveal a tan, and that sinking feeling she had got worse. She was sure tans didn't impress to girls and was proved right when it impressed one of the remaining males. She bowed her head, she couldn't even bare to watch the final egg hatch. She was slightly surrised to see the final dragonet, a sky, stopped at her feet. Then the voice, the soft and slightly sad voice that was definately female which entered her mind. Sorry for making you wait, KyrissaMine, but Opheliath is here now.[/i]
It was all Kyrissa could do to not burst into tears of joy and happiness as her eyes locked with the dragonet's, her dragonet's, eyes. She dropped down to her knees and wrapped her arms round Opheliath. "Indeed you are Opheliath, indeed you are my dearheart." Opheliath nuzzled against her chosen's shoulder with a soft croon of hunger. Can we get some found now Kyrissamine? My stomach is hurting with hunger.[/i] "Of course my dear. We shall get you fed and meet your brothers and sisters." Kyrissa stood, her legs a little shaky still and started to where all the other weyrlings were feeding their dragonets.
