The sky was mostly cloudy, though the sky that shone through the breaks in the fluffy grey clouds looked none too pleasant either. Their was a slight breeze, but it was ultimately warm for this particular time of year. The Weyr was busy as usual at midday, but not all members of Nyocia were up and about...
Sheena was lying in her weyr on her cozy bed, watching her fire-lizards circle the room. She sighed deeply as she got another wave of anxious emotions from her bonded Lyrrith. The three fire-lizards with whom she also shared a connection were starting to get very antsy. Usually, they would all be either perching on or around the green dragoness who was standing stoically on her ledge. The green only ever acted so at a certain time.
That time was nigh.
Lyrrith bugled loud, dwarfing the common day commotion of the Weyr with her blood-curdling roar. Sheena only covered her ears against the sound, and then she rolled her eyes. It was the same little show every time. You’d think Lyrrith would change it up a bit? Sheena got up from the comfort of her bed and paced lazily to where her dragon had just been standing, for Lyrrith had already vaulted from the ledge and swooped down through the air.
The green called again, beckoning all males to the chase. She knew she was only a green, but she was a beautiful green! Her hide shone even in the dim sunlight as she dipped and swooped around. Lyrrith didn’t want to get too far before anyone had even started to give chase yet, so the green glided about in circles.
Sheena sighed and pulled her hair out of it’s regular pigtails; they’d just be a nuisance during the after-Flight activities. Glancing down at herself, she figured she look nice enough. She was wearing her white strapless shirt and her little black skirt, but without the underskirts to puff it out... and nothing else. Her eyes followed her Green’s shining hide for a moment, then went and settled in the Flight weyr. She’d done this enough times, it was nothing new. Sheena could hardly feel the lust at the moment, though she did still get that anxious feeling at who would fly her dragoness.
Lyrrith, if you want this to last, you must blood! Sheena chided the dragon in her head, but of course Lyrrith refused to respond. The green thought she didn’t need to as she was neither big nor bulky! She had speed and that was all she needed. Sheena felt a slight pulse of lust hit her as Lyrrith bugled a third time, and then took off. She wouldn’t wait another moment. Those who wanted her would have to catch up! Lyrrith caught an air current and rode it out and up, trying not to go to quickly just yet, and conserving her energy for the real Flight once some suitors got moving!
((I've never done this before, hope this is alright!))

D'lis was napping when he heard Strath bellow. Starting awake, he jumped up to see what was wrong. Lyrrith Flies. I Chase to win. Go to her rider's weyr.Sighing, D'lis gathered his shirt and took it with him. Another Flight? Another chance to be kicked out of a weyr. He draped the shirt over his shoulder and found Sheena's weyr. Wait...Sheena? Shards! She was...well...beautiful. D'lis breathed deeply before entering. "Hey Sheena. Looks like Strath is going after Lyrrith." His voice sounded cheery! What the shard?! Strath found the Green quickly. He heard her challenge and bugled back. I have come to vie for you, Emerald of the Sky.
His eyes whirled red and purple. Slowly, they began to be taken over by the purple. He would envelope himself in this Flight, he would show his last mate what she had really missed out on! He crooned to Lyrrith and took quickly off after the Green. His wings beat powerfully as he kept his eyes locked on the prize that he wished to obtain.******************************* Did Roluth tell C'it anything? No. C'it had to feel down the connection to see that it was Lyrrith Flying. He walked to Sheena's weyr, lucky it was just after a bath...he was nice and clean and very presentable. "Good to see you again Sheena." He greeted her and took the usual C'it place in all Flights, against a wall. Sheena was amazing to look at, but C'it had qualms about how he could possibly end up with her. Roluth hadn't cared what His thought. Lyrrith was all he thought about as he zoomed to the direction of her challenging bugles and sounds. He trumpeted back and growled as he caught sight of Strath.
That lazy Brown was here? He had won Amirinth! Was that not enough? Roluth would out-do that Sharding Brown this time and have Lyrrith to himself!
He flew quickly. He may be a Blue, but he didn't lack in strength or stamina. He would certainly out-do this lump of a Brown, lazy as he was.Like rider, like dragon. C'it thought. Sheena was very alluring as well.

Axeth had been jumpy all morning, extremely possessive of Ketara, of Rekli, of his weyr. He paced the confines of his weyr, looking up every so often, as if waiting for something.
Finally, a roar ripped through the air, a brazen challenge that had the blue in the air, ready to win!
Ketara ran her oiled rag over the gleaming wood of her bow again, and carefully grabbed the ends by the horn nocks. One hand found the bowstring, and brought it up to meet the other end.
The wood bent smoothly under her practiced hands, but the strign was badly frayed. She sighed, and unstrung it again. Somewhere, there had to be a spare bowstring! She stood to look for it when a roar split the autumn morning.
"Ax, who is it?"
Lyrrith. Ha! Strath and Roluth think to claim her!
Ketara shook her head, and wiped her oily hands on her skirt. Sheena, was it? Now Sheena was a green she wouldn't mind bedding! Apparently Axeth agreed with her, for he was even now winging his way to the prize.
Axeth took his position a little off of where he wanted- a bit ahead of the other two, coming from higher in the sky. But it wasn't where he wanted to be, because it wasn't entined with Lyrrith! Smirking inwardly, he addressed his competition.
The name's Axeth. Got it memorized? Gooood. Because you'll be eating my wind, and I wouldn't want you to wonder whose it is!
Letting himself be overrun by the Flight lust, he then addressed the lovely green.
((and I gotta go, so I'll edit with the rest!))

((Ah, what the heck.))
R'lyr was by the lake, hoping to relax a bit after a stressful Threadfall. Kestrel and the young Junior were darting in and out of the water, while Easath was sunning on a rock. The blue seemed restless, but R'lyr assumed it was because he was still nervous about Crith. He couldn't have been more wrong.
The blind rider looked up instinctively when a bugle rang out through the Weyr. It sounded like a green, but he wasn't sure. Who is it, Easath?
Lyrrith. And...I'm going to chase. The blue sounded abashed, but determined. R'lyr's mouth dropped open, and he turned towards his dragon.
You are not! I thought you liked Crith, and Shards, I don't need any trouble with N'rek! he protested. The fire lizards flew to his side, landing on his shoulder and chittering their agreement. Easath snorted, launching himself into the air. R'lyr could feel the wind from the dragon's wings, and he took a step back.
Exactly. No more trouble. I want things to be perfect for you, mine. And you liked it last time I chased. I want you to see again, Easath stated simply. Ah, dragon logic. With a shrill bugle, he flew in the direction of the feeding grounds, leaving R'lyr to fumble his way across the weyrbowl with the help of the fire lizards. He somehow made his way to Sheena's weyr. The green rider was nice, and she was supposed to be gorgeous, not that R'lyr would know. "This wasn't my idea," he clarified, in case the other riders thought it was odd he showed up.
Strath, Roluth, and Axeth also chase, Easath informed his rider curtly, so he would know who he was competing against. R'lyr sighed. Roluth showed up to every Flight, so no surprise there. Strath was another dragon who was mated to a different green. Still, R'lyr would have liked to think Easath was more faithful than that. Well...dragons. What could you do? Axeth was the Assistant Weyrlingmaster's dragon, probably a strong blue, able to beat Easath. He sighed, uselessly closing his eyes. As he did so, he gave up and tuned in to the dragon's sight. He smiled, his heart lifting a little. Easath was right, he did like being able to "see" through the dragon's eyes during a Flight. It was different than human sight, but still something. He would feel guilty later. For now, he would just enjoy this.
Easath crooned at the beautiful Lyrrith as he joined the other males in the air. He snorted at Axeth. He shouldn't be so sure of victory! Easath had already proved his prowess in flight, and he would do it again. Eyes whirling violet, he turned his full attention to Lyrrith. He flew steadily, enough to keep up, but still giving her space.

Lyrrith was pleased by the turn out of suitors. Three blues and a brown; not too shabby! She growled, to no one in particular, as the males were already getting too close. It had only just begun! And they had better back off, or she'd want to just lose them. Lyrrith wasn't too impressed by Strath's words. Nothing could be so compared to her! She was perfection. The green ignored him and decided that she now had enough following her.
Lyrrith made the impression of dipping down to the left, but she made a sharp fast turn and shot right up into the air, spiraling. The three close males couldn't have enough time to anticipate her maneuver, her eyes swirling violet as she felt a boost of energy due to her craftiness. She amazed even herself! The green dipped up and down as she flew in a relatively straight pattern upwards, reminiscent of the waves of the ocean. Even that first little move expended a bit of her endurance, which she didn't have much of to begin with.
The green did like Strath; he was also the highest ranking dragon here, which gave him a bonus in Lyrrith's books. He had, however, said something which at any other time would have been too much flattery! However, she just got offended by it. The green wasn't sure how she felt about the blues. They all looked good, though Axeth had gotten far too close to her at the start and she didn't like that. Lyrrith didn't grace any of them with any extra attention for the moment. None of them had earned it just yet!
Sheena, on the other hand, wasn't having too much fun. Lyrrith was being especially ridiculous this time, and the riders weren't what she expected. D'lis, for some reason, was not being his mopey self, which bothered her for some reason. Probably because of Lyrrith's mild annoyance with his dragon. C'it was at every Flight he could be, which didn't really bother her too much, but he wasn't very muscular. She liked muscles!
As she thought about the appearance of the riders in her weyr, another burst of lust hit her and her vision gave away to Lyrrith's for a moment. She didn't want to be lost to lust just yet, though Lyrrith wasn't exactly helping with her playful and angry Flight nature. She shut her eyes for a moment against the lust, then opened them again. R'lyr was blind, so he couldn't see what she looked like, unfortunately. However, she did like red hair... and Ketara, well, who wouldn't want to mess around with her? Sheena's thoughts wandered to what it would be like bedding Ketara and she couldn't tell whose lust was taking her now; Lyrrith's or her own.

At the growl, Easath eased up a little, allowing himself to fall back while still not letting the other males get ahead of him. He didn't want Lyrrith to get upset with him for being too close so early in the Flight. As she dipped to the left, he started to follow, but then she darted in the other direction.
He was irritated with himself for being taken in by the trick, but also impressed with her speed. He crooned his admiration, turning on a wingtip to follow her new course. As she began dipping up and down, he matched her with a zigzag pattern of his own for a few beats, hoping to impress her. He was agile, too! She didn't seem to favor any of the males, so that meant they all had a chance. Easath's reasons for joining the Flight may have been impure, but instinct was taking over, and it was hard to resist Lyrrith.
R'lyr gave himself up completely to his dragon, feeling every wingbeat and turn as if he was in the air himself. He could see the forms of the other males nearby, and the beautiful green ahead. He smiled, focusing on that. If Sheena was as pretty as her dragon, then she would be a catch indeed. Just like his dragon, he felt lust creeping in, and he took a few steps closer to Sheena. He had told himself he didn't want to win, but it was hard to resist the powerful Flight emotions.

Roluth was very caught off guard by Lyrrith's sudden sharp turn. He looped back and crooned to her as he shot straight up into the sky after her. She was crafty! Now she was making waves in the air like an ocean, or at least it seemed so.
He, instead, decided to corkscrew around where she had created her little air-waves. He felt that he could show her his ability to maneuver and keep up with her. The Blue's wings pumped hard to do so until he came out of the final corkscrew to fly straight after her to the right a little and far enough back to be able to stay behind her in movements again.
She wouldn't catch him like she had before!C'it smiled. What a crafty Green, no less from such a beautiful pair. His head swam with lust as he watched on through Roluth's eyes and looked over at Sheena. ************************* Strath gave a gurgle. Silly Blues, all of them. He easily followed her in the sharp turn on his wing-tip and then shot up to follow her higher into the sky. He did not follow near, or very quickly.
Strath was one to follow at his own pace. He did his own little air-waves, most of which were upside down. Strath was the largest dragon here, he had the stamina, and didn't have to show that off.
He could show his speed. That he did, taking a closer place to the glowing Green by a quick succession of zig-zags. As he took his place near Roluth, he growled at the Blue. He was the one that could prove worthy of this Green. No one else could. Strath would erase them from her mind.D'lis wasn't sure whether it was dragon-lust or his own attraction to Sheena that actually made him make a noise. He made a purr, his own form of a croon, in the direction of Sheena's voluptuous form. Turning away, he covered his mouth and blushed. He couldn't believe he had just done that.

Axeth backed off a bit when he sensed Lyrrith’s displeasure at his proximity, but not too much. There was no way he was going to lose this Flight! And with Ketara safely ensconced within Sheena’s weyr, there would be no risk of a repeat of Amirnith’s Flight. His didn’t even know of the babe she carried, not yet.
Ketara was in much more control this time than last, she could tell. First off, she wasn’t shaking nearly as badly as she had been, and second, she saw more of her own vision than Axeth’s. And what a vision it was! Sheena was a treat, a real treat both to look at and to touch. She could remember how those curves had felt under her hands at the Gather…and that probably gave Axeth a bit of an edge.
Crooning wistfully, the blue spiraled in large, loopy circles, following, yes, but just as often beside her before he fell behind again. His wings strained with the effort of keeping up with her fast pace, and he had to carefully feed himself through air currents that would throw his loops off.
Diva of the Night, what do you like best?
”Diva of the night, what do you like best?”
At another time, Ketara might be embarrassed to hear Axeth’s lusty words coming from her mouth, but not now. Now, she wanted him to win as much- maybe even more than- he did. Shards, but Sheena was easy on the eyes! She soooo would not mind waking up next to her!

Lyrrith was very impressed with Axeth and Strath for not falling prey to her trickery. She gave a little croon to them as a reward. She had little energy left in reserve, but she couldn't give up just yet! Another sly trick was up her metaphorical sleeve. At Axeth's words, she slowed down slightly, letting her tail touch the blue's neck.
One who doesn't let their diva get away!
Lyrrith joked playfully. She did a large arc up and then, upside down, flew beneath the males. Taunting them by suddenly exposing herself. Once she was past the herd of suitors, she resumed flying right way up. She was tired and doubted she could last through another little display. Lyrrith climbed higher in the skies. They had one last chance to prove they were worthy of her!
Sheena was now overtaken by dragonlust. She could barely see with her own vision, and heard both Ketara and Axeth in her head. She responded accordingly. "One who doesn't let their diva get away!" The girl couldn't help but respond; Lyrrith was dominating her now. All Sheena could feel was lust pulsating through her. She needed to satiate it, and was glad of Lyrrith's tiredness. Soon, she thought, soon I will have what I want.

Easath growled to himself, jealous of the other males. Lyrrith seemed to be paying them more attention. It wasn't his fault he had fallen for the trick, she was just too clever! The jealousy just got worse when she touched Axeth. What did she see in that arrogant blue?
Beating his wings harder, he flew behind Axeth and snapped at the other blue's tail, hoping to distract him. Then he angled upwards, following her as she ascended into the sky. He decided to fly straight and use endurance to his advantage, instead of relying on tricks.
R'lyr was too far gone to notice much on the ground, although he did hear Ketara's question and Sheena's answer. Diva of the night? Under any other circumstance he would have found the term rather trite. As it was, he only took in the answer. Easath still chased, so the diva hadn't gotten away yet!

She liked it! Axeth's hide burned where her tail caressed him, inflaming him with more passion. He looped with more vigor, doubly determined to not lose to any of her other suitors. He was Axeth!
"That wasn't even in the agenda, my diva."
Ket was...was she...purring?! Yes, she was, and the way she looked at Sheena left absolutely no doubt what she wanted to do to the greenrider.
That wasn't even in the agenda, my diva.
Axeth mimicked Ketara so perfectly that their voices even overlapped. He finished his loop, and continued to climb, determined not to lose, not to lose sight of his diva.

Strath didn't like it too much as Lyrrith touched Axeth. He wanted her to touch him! And he would make sure that next time she touched another dragon it would be him. Strath used up some of his saved energy and rolled wide to the left, crooning to Lyrrith.
He came out of the roll and dove down past the other chasers and then extended his wings again. Doing a small corkscrew, he took his position. Sweet Lyrrith, I am now last. I will be first only if you wish me to be. He kept a steady pace with the last place chaser, not certain which Blue it was. What was that dragon doing!? D'lis moaned audibly for Sheena. He wanted this woman more than he thought, lust or not. He wished Strath wasn't so stupid! That was very modest of him, but really...it wouldn't work! He needed this, and Strath just threw it away! ********************** Roluth could only turn slightly red eyes to Axeth as he saw Lyrrith's tail touch him. He sped up, his wings hurting. He would perform for her and then drift painfully back if she didn't pick him!
To prove his worth he did tight twirls, falling down toward the ground as he twirled. He stopped by going into large loops and then a spiral back up. In the last leg, he stroked his wings hard to keep up. Roluth hadn't really been as fit this time, after Amirinth's Flight.
Still, he was almost in the lead compared to the other flyer's positions.C'it was gone, he was with Roluth. He wanted to win, but he was in pain. Lyrrith/Sheena was what he longed for, but he wasn't at all sure he would be able to obtain her.

Unfortunately for Strath, that was no way to win her. She wasn't impressed by his being last place. Was that some master plan? Foolish.
Although Roluth was closest to her, she noticed his waning strength. Weakness was not something that appealed to her. She herself couldn't stay in the sky for another moment.
Between Axeth and Easath, it was hard for her to decide who she liked more. Both blues had chased magnificently. However, her Sheena was attracted to Axeth's rider more and he was closer. Also, Easath snapped at Axeth! That violent behaviour was unacceptable in Lyrrith's books.
The green sidled along beside Axeth, tip of her tail lightly trailing his flank.
Claim your diva.
"Claim your diva."
Sheena was completely lost to Lyrrith, but was glad Axeth won. Not that she was really thinking of the dragons as lust pulsated through her and she practically threw herself at Ketara. Her hands went through Ket's silky chestnut hair, leg lifting around the winner's body. Finally, satisfaction for this raging lust would be fulfilled!

Gladly!
Triumphantly, Axeth wrapped his body around Lyrrith's, happy beyond sensation. The other suitors he had competed against were forgotten in his ecstacy, except for one thing.
He had been right. They DID wind up eating his wind! If one tuned into his mind closely (not that you would want to- far too lusty in there!), smug satisfaction could already be sensed bubbling up.
