I find it sad that our recent c-box posts probably have more words than have been posted in the rps in the last week. :c People have been getting on, but no one's posting.
I've tried starting a couple threads, but no one has replied. The same thing happens to Reine a lot, but I don't think it needs too... we all have perfectly playable characters and the best solution to inactivity is posting. There are at least three threads that I can think of off the top of my head that are just sitting, waiting for someone to join.
Jenth and I have a bit of an idea for action (well, mostly Jenth), but we need to get activity up to be able to carry it out. I know I've been slow to post lately, but the only thread I'm in is a Flight, which I generally have a hard time writing to with stale characters. I'd really like to do some general, non-Flight/weyrling lesson rping, and see some other people doing it too. Weyrlings are just as free as everyone else to rp, except for that they can't really travel out of the Weyr until their dragons are a bit older.
Does anyone want to try planning some things out beforehand? I think we've done it before where we just had a thread where people offered characters they wanted to rp and others took them up on it and it seemed to work out pretty well.
I think POTMRayne had a character who had a fight with Tirasha and wanted to get back at her about it or something like that, and I had some super-awkward short thread with N’ren and Dirta that could be gotten back to as well (and Jenth, whatever happened to N’ren and Earisa? xD). Amirinth loves to canoodle with every male who comes her way, and Aleyi could do to hang out with more people than R’mer, I think. Salise and Kora are both waiting on threads that are already posted, one in the Weyr Bowl, and one at the Overgrown Island (so riders only at that one, probably, since they're the only ones who can easily access it).
I dunno… there’s ideas for a few of my characters. Anyone else?
