Nelth followed close behind his rider, and was practicly taking up the hall as his followed after her bonded. This normally was not a problem in the area away form the dining hall, but with all the cooks working around the kicthen area, Nelth was getting in the way. Yet it was obvious that she was not going anywhere. The blue was usally pretty stubborn when it came to sticking near And'l when he felt he needed him.
A green appered above and brought a sweetroll down and dropped it into And'l's hand. Luckily the cooks had correctly guessed what And'l was heading to the kicthen to get and gave it to one of the firelizards that somtimes hung around the kicthen to taken it to And'l. It got a firelizard out of the kicthen, and it kept Nelth form causing a traffic jam. He was not really that much in the way at the moment, but he would have probably blocked the door had And'l fecthed the roll himself.
The sweetroll though seemed to lose it's taste when And'l put it in his mouth. Simply becuase the almost fustarted emotions that that his blue seemed to radiate off... and though it made the rider sad, he knew that his dragon was only sacrificing for him. Which was somthing that he was always thankful for, and caused him to pamper Nelth more than most dragons probably where. Topaz was flying around and landed right on top of Nelth's head and just stayed there until he was indeed shooed away by the larger reptile. He wishpered to himself, "Sorry Nelth..." Yet the blue didn't reply... the dragon never did, and instead just nuzzled his rider lovingly. The man leaned up against the wall as he stayed there.

Torch's endless chatter, as usual, announced N'ren's presence as he headed down the hall out of the kitchens. He whistled absently to himself as he walked- at least until Tak gave a surprised chirp that brought N'ren's attention back to where he was walking.
Well, a dragon was a bit more of an obstacle than he would have expected to see in the lower caverns. Torch chittered and flew towards the Blue, curious and excited about having an adult dragon about inside. Tak settled more deeply onto N'ren's shoulder, far less intrigued by the interruption. Quite the opposite, actually. N'ren might have smiled, but neither the Blue, nor his nearby rider, looked particularly happy.
"Hey there," N'ren greeted the Bluerider, "Where're you headed?" He didn't quite recognize this rider, and what else was he supposed to say? He was curious. But... maybe a normal introduction would have been better.

The endless chirpping of a firelizard coming up the hallway quickly got the young man's attention as he leaned aginst the wall. Leaf's reaction was quicker than that of her pet as she took off form his shoulder and began to fly in Torch's direction. She circled around the blue as she seemed to study him and then his pet for a moment before flying back to sit on And'l's shoulder. For now the bluerider did not move at the moment to let the other male come closer. Nelth was not in the best mood to be playing around with firelizard's who where not part of his bonded's fair today and he immdentally growled at Torch, warning the flit to go away. The only reason N'ren did not get the same growl was that the blue still wanted his bonded to socialize and was not going to ruin this.
Yet that did not mean his eye was not kept wacthful on this other person. With the way he was looking at N'ren it was of those looks that said, 'You better wacth yourself.' And'l just shook his head and let out a sigh, "You need to calm down.. before you pop a vein or somthing." The blue's only reply was, I am calm..... who says I am not.... I am prefectly calm. The blue purposfully let N'ren in on the conversation so that his sarcasm would be evident to this new person, and again enfroce the fact they should wacth themselves.
And'l himself though did not like the bad impression that was being given off by Nelth at this moment, sinice he did not want to be thought completely unfriendly. So he walked forward to the other and said nothing for a moment as his big eyes studied the other's for a moment. It was the type of look that peered deep into your soul and then took your secerts away when you where not looking. That was the kind of impression it could sometimes give off. Yet he was trying to find the motive behind this person wanting to speak to him, but he kept this in his head, and with a very soft smile that broke his cold extiror for a moment and said, "Nowhere really... Just stopped right here to relax a bit. Try and get some peace maybe. What about you though? Where are you headed? What is your name? My name is And'l.... nice to meet you." In a way his questions seemed rapid fire, but in another they where no where near that speed.

When the dragon growled, Torch squawked with dismay and rushed back to N'ren. After landing on his keeper's shoulder, surely perfectly safe, he set to chattering softly to himself about how frightening that had been. What a pretty Green, and then to be chased off by a dragon! As if she was his mate.
N'ren was as surprised as his fire-lizard, and Tak didn't take the growl well either. This wasn't the domain of dragons- he had known this one would be trouble. N'ren ran his fingers over the Brown's back to calm him before the flitter tried anything rash. This was all... odd, and the sudden, unexpected sound of the Blue's voice in his mind only made it all the stranger. N'ren was a dragonrider, but Johannesth hardly talked- hearing a voice that wasn't his dragon's was only more shocking.
As if to finish off the unsettling feel of the moment, the rider approached N'ren and gave the Tanrider the mos frightening stare he had ever been subjected to. He hesitated under the gaze, but didn't shrink back. This was an odd pair, but he didn't think they would hurt him. Finally the rider smiled, and N'ren relaxed and did as well. And'l...
"Well, I was just headed out of the kitchens- I was helping out there for a bit. Out to the bowl, I guess, to meet Jo- my dragon." Maybe. Johannesth wasn't really due for a bath or feeding, so the Tan could easily choose to just laze in his weyr. "I'm N'ren, of Tan Johannesth," he continued. "Nice to meet you too."
Tak chirped; he liked to be introduced too. Why the dragon that wasn't there and not the fire-lizard that was? "Oh, and that's Tak, and the noisy one is Torch," N'ren added, glancing at each flitt in turn as he spoke their name. Torch chirped to And'l's Green.

And'l wacthed the other male closely for a moment when he realized that he had quite unsettled the other rider who was standing across form him. He was not suprised about this though, becuase taht was what normally happened when he first meet people. He came off as being a little creepy, even though he was not trying to be, in the end it sometimes worked to his advantage becuase it let him know if people would be put off by his mannerisims. He did not need anyone around who was going to be mean to him becuase of the way that he acted. So that was simply the way he was. Yet he was not going to leave this man under the looking glass for too long, or else that would scare anyone away.
He then smirked for a moment and asked, "Was it you in there who was making the sweets becuase I would say that they are quite good. Or where you just cleaning dishes." He was not being insulting it was just somthing that he had had to do before and wondered if that was what the other male was doing. That was when he heard the other introduce himself and the two flits and then in typical And'l fashion he looked at the two firelizards and reached out and began to scrath Tak on the eyerigdes and greeted them, "Hello Tak... Hello Torch." He also reached out with the other hand do the same on the other firelizard, with almost no regard on how he was invadiing the personal space of the man in front of him. Plus the fact he had yet to give a proper response to the others greeting. He prefer to greet the flits first.
Then his eyes seemed to show that he had indeed forgotten to do this when he said, "Oh sorry about that..... it is nice to meet you too N'ren..." He was obviously not talking about the fact that he was invadiding the others personal space becuase he was still petting the firelizards. He then gave the other male a curious look, "Can I meet your dragon?" He was asking a question that required movement but the fact he was still petting the firelizards made one wonder if he would do it while they walked. Topaz now made himself known and stayed close to Leaf... his eyes where on the blue had tried to flirt with his mate.

“No, I can’t cook at all.” N’ren laughed. “I was just doing dishes.” And sweeping up, and letting Tak keep potential fire-lizard thieves at bay. The Brown was pretty effective, since it was mostly smaller colors that tried to sneak in to the kitchens.
N’ren was surprised, once again, when And’l moved forward and started scratching Tak and Torch. Luckily Tak was well-behaved enough to not draw back, and Torch, of course, simply appreciated the gesture. The Blue had no sense of personal space either, and thought nothing of someone coming near his keeper.
When And’l seemed to suddenly remember N’ren again, the Tanrider smiled. “Not a problem, these two love attention.” This was different, but N’ren had been raised to be polite to everyone. And’l seemed plenty nice, albeit slightly awkward.
“My dragon? Ah, sure. Except, we’ll have to go outside. Jo wouldn’t fit in here.” If a Blue was a tight squeeze, a Tan definitely wouldn’t make it. Jo, can you meet us in the bowl, near the kitchen exit?
If I must.
Torch, meanwhile, had been eyeing the Green fire-lizard again. A Bronze turning a dour gaze on him made the Blue withdraw a bit. A dragon growling at him was frightening, but he doubted a dragon would hurt him. Another fire-lizard, on the other hand, was a danger.

And'l contiuned his petting of the two firelizards as he didn't say anything for a few moments. Again he had zoned out while petting the flits and so was mostly focusing his attention on them again while forgetting that there was a person that they where both sitting on and he was talking to. Nelth though was quick to notice this and like he always did he was quick to respond and get his bonded back on track. What happened next seemed to happen in a procession that seemed praticed and had obviously been done many times before which gave it a comical look to it.
First Leaf turned and made a beeline right towards her bonded and as she came around behind and passed him... the tip of her tail slapped the back of his head. Topaz came at him form the oppisate direction and did the exact same action though while going a differnt way. Then the puppt master in this charde made his as the tip of the blues tail came around and very lightly tap And'l on the back of the head. It quickly brought the rider back adn he said, "Oh..... yeah we should probably do that... I once had Nelth almost get stuck and that wasn't to good..." The blue commented as he looked at the rider and was shaking his tail back an front in a way in which one would do there pointer finger if saying 'no no no'...... Sometimes N'ren we have to give him a tap to get him going... You know how that goes.. right? There was a soft rumble of laugther in the blue's statment becuase even after seven turns it was still funny.
And'l stopped petting the firelizards and before they even moved he asked the most curious question...."Would ethier of them mind being held?" It was the most odd question but the way And'l asked it was in a unashamed manner, becuase he really did want to see if he could cuddle the other firelizards, but when Nelth stood up and the pair began to walk towards the weyr bowl, it was also obvious that the young man wanted the question to be answered for him in midstride.

N’ren watched with quiet surprise as all of And’l’s draconics abruptly started hitting his head with their tails, and couldn’t help but take a step back this time. He didn’t want them thinking they should come over and tap him as well. Torch chattered and swung his own tail, removing the point of N’ren’s movement.
“No it wouldn’t be-” N’ren stopped abruptly and flinched when Nelth suddenly spoke to him again- even addressing him by his name this time. He could feel Johannesth’s distaste at the Blue’s action in the back of his mind, but tried to ignore both the Tan and Nelth. N’ren did know how it went- he had Johannesth to deal with every day. But he remained silent.
And’l’s question was a welcome release from the awkward situation and he nodded. “Neither would mind, although Torch might bother you. Tak is good though.” The Brown didn’t look totally eager about being held by this stranger, but if N’ren asked… yes, he would endure it. N’ren started following And’l out of the caverns without either fire-lizard leaving his shoulder though; both at least required a reply from And’l before they would actually go to him.

The blue wacthed the other rider with amusment when he noticed how he had fliched and acted when he had spoken to him. He did not say anything else to the rider becuase he really didn't need to, but if he did he planned on saying more. The blue didn't care that it bothered the Tan rider becuase he found the fact that it did silly. He felt that he should be able to talk to whomever he wanted to sinice his rider was allowed to talk to he wanted to. That just seemed to so limiting to be able to only talk to And'l.... yet the blue waited.... becuase it would be no good to keep talking..... sinice there was really nothing that needed to be said.
And'l looked in the direction of the two firelizard as Nelth followed close behind. The blue used to follow right on his heels like canine, but was now to big to do that, so the large blue just did this to the best of his abilities. He always wanted to stay close to his And'l to keep the young man nice and safe... as what his habit. When the blue rider finally spoke he said, "That would be great.... I mean if they want me to... I just like to hold them is all... I promise I will be super gentle." The rider moved closer in the direction of the other male so that whichever firelizard would be willing to let him could have a esaier time coming over.
They where soon though out in weyrbowl and the young man was also looking around to see if he could see the dragon.... though at the same time still waiting on the firelizard..... or firelizards... if they both wanted to maybe get a hug. He knew that he would just have to wait and see on that part.

N’ren laughed. “You don’t need to worry about them, these two are tough.” Tak he’d had since he was little, and Torch had quite a few years on him as well. The pair had survived a lot growing up with N’ren. He glanced at Tak, preferring that it was the Brown who took up And’l’s offer.
Torch beat his sire to the punch though, and launched from N’ren’s shoulder, shot ahead of both men, and then spun around, ending his short flight by colliding with And’l’s chest. The Blue latched onto an arm and cheeped cheerfully at the Bluerider.
“Torch- ah, alright.” The Blue wasn’t about to give up a little extra attention, and Tak was more than happy to remain on N’ren’s shoulder. He wouldn’t bother with it; it wasn’t like Torch could be much more of a pain.
Meanwhile, they had arrived at the Weyr Bowl, where Johannesth waited. The Tan bobbed his head in greeting to Nelth and then looked at the humans, eyes whirling as he inspected And’l. “Hey there Jo,” N’ren greeted the quiet Tan. As usual, he got no spoken reply, but he was used to that by now and didn’t mind it much.
Torch more than made up for it, anyways.
