Appearance: Katraen has short, black hair with a long fringe although that is usually tied back with a piece of rough leather. He is of a slight build although strangely enough well muscled. He is tall standing at almost six foot at only fifteen turns, he normally hides his strange height by slouching all the time. Katraen has bright piercing green eyes. He has a sour expression it looks like he always wears a sneer. It is a bad trait when you try to make friends it doesn’t always make you look approachable. Just to add to the non-approachableness he has a out of line nose from when it has been broken and hasn’t healed properly.
Personality: He is a kind of sweet-and-sour person. Katraen can be really nice to you if you get over his plastered sneer, and then he can become really annoying and attention seeking, THEN to add to it he can become mean, angry and rude. Most people get confused after the first couple of days after meeting him and most don’t even last a week. When he becomes his mean, angry self he can use his muscles to his advantage and he has got into a lot of fights in his life-time.
History: Katraen has always been a trouble maker and he hated his parents. He was the youngest of seven children and was always forgotten, his parents only remembered him when they needed someone to clean out the beast pens which always seemed to be their favourite chore to make him do, which got him out of the house.
Katraen hated crowed places like the beast pens it made him feel claustrophobic. He would prefer to be by himself dreaming about the dragon-riders, it was forever his ambition to became one ever since he had seen them doing a sweep after threadfall.
His parents were ecstatic when he was searched, they didn’t even bother to hide that they were not concerned one bit. That they were finally going to get this trouble-maker off their hands. Katraen was secretly sad he had to leave, only some of his family he liked this youngest of his brothers and sisters, strangely enough he wasn’t at all put off by the aspect of a foreign place, he was excited. But he still had his favourite part of his family, the firelizards he had found and impressed a few turns back. They were really all he needed.

Personality: Fang is always stirring up trouble, loves chasing the greens as he is normally the victor although the queens normally prove to be too big a challenge. His favourite perch is in Katrean’s long, locks of dirty hair. He loves tormenting his quieter sibling Muddy although normally he has to catch the faster brown first......

Personality: This brown is sleek and fast he loves to lead Fang on and wing away right at the end of the chase. Muddy loves sunbaking on rooftops and to the non-observant can seem rather lazy, although he is probably just thinking up a way to plan his revenge on Fang or how to tease him and disappear in the nick of time.
