Appearance: Steven has tan skin and redish-brown wavy hair. he's very tall for his age, and also very thin. he is 5'5" at only 13, and naturally 'toothpick-thin'. his wavy hair is a bit long, down his neck almost near his shoulders.his eyes are a chocolatey-brown that shine golden-y when he's excited.
Personality: Steven is a bit shy, but loves to explore with his adopted sister Miri. he could be classed as 'eccentric', but he just likes to fool around.he is a bit of a slacker, but when something interests him, his eyes gleam a bright golden-brown and he will not stop until he has accomplished his task. he may look like he could play sports really well, but he is too uncoordinated for most, which is why he gets along so well with his adopted sister Miri.
History: . he is holder-born, but is the youngest son amoung three, and has two older sisters. one of these older sisters was adopted by his parents when he was just born- she being a few years older than him. almost imediately, they became friends. he loves to go exploring with Miri and pretending to go on adventures to other areas of pern. when Miri became the owned of a feline kitten, Steven set out to find himself a pet too. he had no luck for days until he stumbled upon a fire-lizard's nest. it was a green's, and one of the very few that had any left alive within. Steven picked up the one egg with no hole in it from tunnel-snakes and brought it home, then cared for the egg-and later, the hatchling. the small pale green firelizard impressed imediately, although he feared it would fly *between*, small as it was. after Miri was searched by a blue rider, Steven had only his fire-lizard as a close friend- his other siblings were much older than them, so he would be out as much as he could, training his tiny Meril. he almost missed out when green rider *Searched* at his hold a sevenday after Miri, running back into his hold, the green rider picked him, an before he knew it, he was at Nyocia Weyr, a scolding Meril on his shoulder.
Pets: pale green fire lizard Meril. this tiny green is the total oposite of Steven iin personality, yet they are very close. the flitt is vain, and would rather a brown flitt chace it than a blue, although Meril is usually caught by blues. if Steven does anything she deems 'wrong', she will scold him furiously until he rubbs or scratches her eye ridges.
Other: Steven is meticulous, fun-loving, and shy. he is more musical than artistic.

i began that i thought i needed to put them as siblings, but later on, i liked the way it ran with them as such. )
