Gender :: Male

Height :: 6' 00"
Weight :: 139 lbs.
Build :: Like his sister, Aeyr seems to have an almost willowy build and has proven to be fairly light on his feet. However, his muscles are a bit more pronounced than Kethari's and he seems to be more well-rounded in terms of physical strength and endurance, able to commit himself to the averages of both. While his skin never really was darkly toned from the sun to begin with, the darkness of the Wher Labyrinth has caused it to remain just as pale due to the time he spends among the caverns with the Whers.
Hair :: A dark colour, Aeyr's hair seems to be mainly black with a slight, brown undertone to it. He normally leaves it loose so that its full length is shown -- which extends to around the middle of his back -- and uninhibited other than for the headband he uses to keep it out of his eyes. Why exactly he has chosen to keep his hair long rather than cutting it short is unknown, though he doesn't seem to be too bothered by the occasional assumptions he's more bisexual because of its length and his general appearance.
Eyes :: Sharing the pale blue azure colouration with his sister, Aeyr's eyes, however, don't have the capability of changing shade based on mood like Kethari's do. Rather, due to the dark conditions he normally lives in, they seem to have a somewhat greyish tint around the outsides of his irises. While it's not very noticable, it's enough to indicate his position amongst the dark caverns of the Wher Labyrinth.
Clothing :: Aeyr's normal clothing is a dark, emerald green, high-collared shirt with a black belt across his chest and around his waist. His leggings are a dark brown, and are generally tucked into his boots to prevent them from dragging on the ground. His leather boots are relatively worn from moisture, though he keeps them for the simple reason that they're rather comfortable. He generally has a brown poncho on that covers a great majority of his cloathing underneath and also provides warmth when it's necessary.
Markings :: Aeyr sports a single, x-shaped scar across his left cheek, which is thanks to a rather rash movement while tending to his Wher, Aeysk, while he was still a hatchling. He doesn't seem to mind the constant reminder, however, but rather considers it a warning the Candidates about the dangers even their own Whers can hold.
Accessories :: Considering most accessories to be a waste of time and resources to acquire, Aeyr only has a brown headband wrapped around his forehead in order to keep his long hair from dropping into his eyes.

Joker
While Aeyr enjoys being friendly to most people, he also seems to have a bit of a prankster side. Quite prone to pulling pranks and joking around [particularly with those older than him], he seems to be the 'fun guy' at the Wher Labyrinth. While his actions normally lead to consequences, he doesn't seem to mind the constant trouble he finds himself in. After all, as long as he doesn't do anything to actually damage the Labyrinth or anyone in it, how bad can the punishments be?
Flirtatious
Rather open when it comes to his attractions, Aeyr normally doesn't hesitate to display his feelings if he finds that one of his fellow Wherhandlers is attractive. However, he's more of an 'elegant' flirt, and typically relies on endless compliments and similar methods rather than pick up lines others may use. While he has tried the pick up lines in the past, he has found that they more oftenly end in a slap to the face than anything else; not to mention that his new method gives him a better impression to counteract his otherwise prankster personality.
Poetic
Definitely an advantage in his method of flirting, Aeyr considers himself to be somewhat of a poet and normally that can be seen in the way he speaks. Using words not many others would think of using in everyday talk, it generally makes him appear to be more 'formal' than he really is. Of course, once you become the victim of one of his pranks you realize he's not exactly what he may seem at first glance.
Sensitive
Aeyr does understand when enough is enough and as such normally stops whatever he's doing when that becomes obvious. He is generally open to listen if someone needs someone to talk to, and provides comfort and advice when he can. However, even during his sensitive moments he can occasionally mess it up with a flirty remark or something similar, though he does try his best to avoid that when at all possible. After all, there are moments for things, and moments that those things shouldn't be there.
Protective
Towards his friends and family, Aeyr can be extremely protective when it's obvious they may be in danger of harm or hurt. He doesn't take kindly to people directly offending those he cares about, and has on occasions been known to even spare a punch or jab in their direction if no one's looking. He doesn't exactly hold grudges for long, but during the time he does he isn't exactly the most friendly person towards the offender and is prone to acting rather harshly as a result.
Brother
As the brother of the DragonRider, Kethari, Aeyr generally tries to find as much time as possible to spend with her as possible. While it can occasionally be difficult to find time where they both can meet up, it isn't uncommon for him to leave the Labyrinth to watch her train at the Weyr and vice versa. His true, brotherly personality normally shines whenever he's with Kethari, and it goes to show just how close the two really are.

Childhood
Aeyr was born as the older sibling of two, being around a turn older than his younger sister, Kethari. Their family was one of the more wealthy of the Hold they had come to call home, and unfortunately their parents grew to be considered somewhat 'snobbish' because of it. His parents weren't the most liked in the Hold, and were known to turn away requests for even small amounts of help for their less fortunate bretheran. As a result, Kethari and Aeyr were forced to grow up away from other kids their age due to the fact it was expected that they would turn out to be just like their parents.
Even though they had anything one could ask for, the siblings craved friendship of others and generally tried their best to make it obvious they were the exact opposite of those that raised them. However, they were still turned away repeatedly, and grew to rely on each other for company and companionship. While it helped to strengthen their sibling bond, both individuals couldn't help to feel like outcasts; people that were disliked and hated even though they weren't even known.
However, Kethari soon began to spend time with the local dancer, Kaleen, leaving Aeyr to find things to do on his own while she was away. While she hung around the tavern with Kaleen, he began to show a slight interest in the abode of the resident Firelizard Tamer. He began to gradually spend time at the man's home, examining the many Flitters that could be found there. The man, who's name happened to be Jecht, was rather amused by the young boy's interest in the Flitters, and offered him an egg when his Gold next Rose. However, Aeyr refused, scared that his parents would disagree with the keeping of the creatures.
However, he continued to visit Jecht and his Firelizards, aiding in the middle-aged man's care for them and helping out others that came in hopes of Impressing one for their own homes. He wasn't paid for it, but he was happy and content with the suitable distraction from his sister's absence while she spent time with the dancer Kaleen.
Though, soon Kethari began to spend more time and home and, likewise, so did Aeyr. He had explained his reasoning to Jecht, who understoof fully and didn't mind the lengthened intervals between Aeyr's visits. Aeyr, however, showed a certain interest in the language that Kethari's new friend had taught her, and fully agreed to learning it. He thought of it as his and his sister's 'secret language' which they could use to talk to each other when they didn't want anyone else to overhear. It was an exciting setup that Aeyr was overjoyed to take part in. After all, he had his sister back.
However, when he recieved word that Kethari's friend, Kaleen, had apparently vanished, he grew worried. Following after his sister when she took off in search of the dancer, his worry for her well-being grew. After all, it was possible that Kaleen may have fled the Hold, or even that she could have been an undercover criminal. Having never met her himself, he couldn't be sure.
The Dark Man
Aeyr had ended up losing track of Kethari as she ran through the streets, though the sound of a struggle soon caught his attention. Turning to follow, he hurried down the narrow corridor that lead to the home that it seemed a man had been holding the dancer for his own uses, and it seemed that Kethari had stumbled upon the hidden place.
Arriving just in time to see a woman [who he assumed was Kaleen] lying upon the ground and the dark man assulting his sister, Aeyr acted immediately, clubbing the man hard across the back of his head and successfully knocking him out. He then turned to tend to his sister's wound to the best of his abilities, before fleeing from the scene with her in order to alert the people that needed to be alerted.
Within a few days, it seemed obvious that the murder of Kaleen and the attempted assult on Kethari's life wasn't going to be tolerated by the Lord Holder. Within a few days, the unknown man was hung, though Aeyr couldn't truthfully say he felt sorry for him.
Moving On
Relieved by the turn of events that had saved their daughter, Aeyr's parents changed their ways and, over the next few turns, prepared to leave the Hold and start anew; away from the unwelcome attitude they had gained themselves due to their selfishness. However, even in the time that wore on, Aeyr's parents were terrified about the prospect that their daughter's life would be threatened again and, a few sevendays before they left the Hold, purchased a canine for Kethari's protection. Aeyr had considered accepting Jecht's second offer of a Firelizard egg when he went to say goodbye, though once again he refused. He still wasn't sure his parents would permit it.
The family moved to a newly established Hold known as Danac Hold, where they once created their home. However, most of their wealth went to the Hold's aide, which left them leading comfortable lives without the overembelishment wealth could bring. For the time being, Aeyr had worked at a general shoppe where he provided other Hold dwellers with items and did some typical labour around the shoppe. However, a turne later, Kethari had been chosen as a DragonRider. Aeyr, while he was slightly envious but happy for his sister at the same time, instead became a Wherhandler.
Funnily enough, like his sister, Aeyr only served as a Candidate for a turn before he Impressed his Wher. Even with the painful ritual of slitting his hand so his newly bonded partner could taste his blood, it was one of the happiest days of his life. He felt a connection with Aeysk much like the one he held with Kethari [even though a few situations proved Aeysk was a bit more dangerous]. Even if he didn't have a telepathic bond with the Wher in the same manner Kethari had her's with her Green Ansraeth, he loved the Blue Wher nevertheless.
Kethari and Aeyr never did lose contact, and continue to spend as much time together as possible. At least, as much time as a Wherhandler and a DragonRider can find to get time away from their respective duties.

Wher Name :: Aeysk
Wher Age :: Three turns
Wher Size :: Aeysk is around thirteen hands high and twnety-five hands long [including his tail]. His wingspan is around sixteen hands across, with each wing being approximately 8 hands when fully extended.
Wher Colour :: Blue
Wher Appearance :: A soft, greyish shade of blue dominates Aeysk's skin, though it is adorned with numerous lighter shades that seem to reflect moonlight when it hits it just right; such areas can be noted on the back of his wings and along his neck. He's a relatively muscular Wher, that's a bit smaller with a longer wingspan in the average ranges.
Wher Personality :: Relatively silent and observant, Aeysk doesn't normally make much noise but rather relies on his actions to speak for him. He could be considered to be a bit protective over his Handler, and doesn't quite approve of Aeyr's constant 'need' to play pranks, but even so he remains loyal to no end. After all... it is fully possible he could have ended up with a Handler who didn't think more of him than a mere tool to do with as they wished.
