Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance:
--> The Eyes: Ayla has rather drab looking brown eyes. They’re just brown, with not even a tinge of some other color in them. In the dark they look black.
---> The Hair: Ayla’s hair is sleek and dark brown. It is also extremely straight. And short, usually spiked at the ends by natural means.
---> The Face: Ayla has a charming, pixie-like face. Her chin is pointed, her nose is small, and her eyes look larger than normal. Her ears, by some strange deformation, also look somewhat pointy. She always has a light pinkish hue on her cheeks.
---> The Body: If anyone’s body can be as fairy-like, it’s Ayla’s. Ayla boasts a perfect lithe body with strong legs and a flat stomach. She stands at a rather short 5’4” and weighs probably only 115 pounds. She’s not anorexic, mind you.
---> The Clothes: Have you ever heard of Peter Pan’s little friend Tinkerbell? Remember Tink’s clothes? Good, now picture them on Ayla, only without the shoes. She always wears earthen colors, and her favorite color is green.
---> The Scars: What? Scars on such a pretty lady? Why, of course! No one is ever perfect, though. She has many scars from her fire-lizard friends, but even the scars are small.
Personality:
---> around friends: Ayla is an outgoing person, and she is always the kind of person who wants to keep everyone happy. She does not, however, crack random jokes. She just relies on her happy aura to cheer everyone else up.
---> around other adults: ayla is a polite being by nature. She always says ‘ma’am’ and ‘sir’, or if speaking to dragons, she tries to be as polite as possible. Another two of the words that she likes to use are ‘please’ and ‘thank you.’ She is not overly polite, though. Sometimes, around adults she doesn’t know she can get shy. The vice versa could work, also, whereas around adults she does know, she can show her outgoing side. She does this still, even though she is the gold wherhandler.
---> around Aylask: There is no right word to describe the woman around her wher. Loving, perhaps? Caring? All of these are right, are true. She loves Aylask down to the depths of her heart, and would not know what would happen to her if Aylask died.
---> around herdbeasts/other creatures of the sort: When around herdbeasts Ayla adopts a calm, caring attitude. She is very gentle with these also-gentle beasts, and it seems as if she knows them more than she knows humans. She works with them carefully, teaching them (the ones not used to feed dragons, such as runnerbeasts) to work together and multiple other things. She has always had a special bond with these animals and so feels the best around them, as she has grown up around herdbeasts all her life.
---> general personality: When around anyone in particular, Ayla becomes a mix of her different personalities. She is happy, yet polite. She is caring, yet shy. She is everything at any given moment of time. She is also very intelligent, but does not like to gloat about it.
History:
Ayla was born on a rainy afternoon to Amora and Zyyr. Amora and Zyyr were both modest farm workers, their jobs consisted of sowing crops and raising various beasts to be traded. Ayla was brought into that life full-force, and loved every bit of it. Near her second Turn of life her mother birthed another child. Unfortunately, the child had a rare disease and died three days later before a Healer could come. Ayla, being only two Turns old, was too young to remember.
For four more Turns Ayla grew up as a worker on the farm. She watched many births and many deaths in that time. She also watched as animals were carted off to places unknown to her. She wondered where the creatures were being carted off to, and wanted to follow them. She didn’t want them to get hurt, as they were her only friends.
Near her fifth Turn of life her parents decided to take her to the Weyr. They would be able to teach her the fundamentals that normal girls and boys learned. Slowly she learned, and after two Turns she had learned all the reading, writing and ‘rithmatic that any normal person would. She was allowed back to the small farm that her parents owned. With only her parents around, the instructor said that she was one of the more intelligent students he had ever taught. He said he had been privileged to teach her and that she would have been a great dragonrider.
Of course now, Ayla was too young to be even considered as a candidate for a dragon. She still had at least four more Turns to go! And those four Turns she spent working on the farm. Of course, that time was one of the more boring times of Ayla’s life. In fact, since she was only around her parents, the herdbeasts, and the occasional Trading Caravans, so she had no one around her age to socialize with. The poor girl became more mature than she should have.
At twelve Turns Ayla left for the Weyr. On the way to the Weyr, the girl stopped by a beach. It was more like a patch of sand near a lake for all the waves the beach had. It was there where Ayla watched a Green’s egg hatching. Since Ayla had never seen fire-lizards before (the girl hadn’t looked overmuch, and there were none on the farm), she didn’t know what to do when the Green’s eggs started to hatch in her hands—for she had been curious. It hatched, the hatchling creeled for food, and Ayla happily gave some to it—she’d already been eating lunch, so why not?.
Thus the little blue fire-lizard was named Askar. After that, and after training the shy Askar to do easy tasks for her, Ayla continued to the Weyr… where she stayed and awaited Impression for nearly eight Turns. She became adept at keeping the herdbeasts well looked after, for that was what she was, a farmer at heart.
Then, quite suddenly, Ayla changed her mind, and now she tried for a wher. Fortunately, there was a wher clutch, and at the hatching, the queen launched at her and bit her in the arm. Thus, Ayla became bonded to Ask, who eventually turned from Ask to Aylsk to Aylask. Now, here they are.

Aylask
Wher Name: Aylask
Wher Age: 12 Turns
Wher Size:
Aylask is a strange Wher. She is smaller, at around 20 hands at the shoulder. Also, she is around 27 hands long, but where most of her other siblings are stocky, she is slender-built. Her tail, though, is long and serpentine, around 11 hands long.
Wher Color: Gold
Aylask is a pale gold color. She is not the largest of Golden Whers, but her tail could rival any larger Wher’s tail any day. Her body is just as malformed as any other Wher’s body, though.
Wher Personality:
Aylask is such a sweetheart, she is loving, caring and, though she is quiet, she could never be called shy since she is always first to greet anyone who enters her Weyr. She is not overbearing, she likes to let her Weyr (mainly the Whers, since those are who she governs) run on its own but she makes sure that people know that she is in charge, she runs her Weyr with an iron fist in her own sweet and caring manner, ensuring that no Wher acts out of turn or like a headless wherry – there is no need for this nonsense. Honor, virtue, integrity – all of these things matter to this Queen and while she watches the world quietly she upholds these things until the last. Many see this Queen as innocent and naive but they are very wrong, this is really nothing but a front, Aylask is in fact very intelligent and cunning and she enjoys leading you into this false security so that she can shock you later. Despite her generally sweet nature she is a typical Gold in how stubborn she is and commanding when necessary, though not as much of a flirt she prefers the company of males for a chat, as for anger well this can be summed up as a volcano shoved into a flower – she’s pretty but boy oh boy can she get annoyed. She is devoted to her bonded and adores Ayla, there is no one better than she as far as Aylask is concerned (at least until Ayla dies, if that ever happens)– therefore get on Ayla’s good side and you get on hers.
