Appearance: Asha is a slight woman, with a child-like look to her. She's short at 5'4" finely boned with small hips and shoulders. Delicate in her appearence as well as in health, Asha has a weak heart and too much excitement has proven to be a hazzard to her. Her short black hair just touches her shoulders, and is straight as a nail, though the front is a little longer than the back. Feathery in appearence and soft in feel.
Asha has a delicate face with high cheek bones and a small nose. Her eyes are wide and alight with her enthusiasm and love of life. Light blue like the sky on a clear day or the water of a beach with white sands. While not gaunt or sickly looking Asha looks younger than she is and the child-like innocence around her make many want to protect her. Asha is always dressed in soft leather boots with a long dress that swishes around her ankles and clings to her slender figure.
Personality: Kind and Gentle Asha is a sweet tempered and loving young woman who sees the good in everyone. What everyone else calls faults in others Asha looks past believing everyone is a good person, this though can often get her into trouble. She is quite soft spoken, but doesn't seem to have trouble making herself known when needed to. She is quite motherly, and is a good person to come to when in need of advice.
Her weak heart and inability to join in some activities like the others has made her a creative and intuitive young woman. Incredibly strong willed Asha has the determination to go on and not dwell on what makes her different. Even though she's been coddled and sheltered since she was a child she's not naive and is remarkably independent. It doesn't show though in her shy reclusive nature.
The last to join in but the first to make a decision, Asha never hesitates about deciding things. Like her baby daughter Kavira, she knew the risks but she was still willing to continue with the pregnancy at the cost of her own health and probably her life once the time comes. Asha's never asked for help, most say because she's shy others because she's too independent for some likes. More it's just she's never found herself needing any help until now.
History: She was raised by a foster mother at the Weyr-hold since she was very young. Asha used to be a healthy child full of vigour and well being but an Firehead struck her down hard and a young age and weakened her heart greatly, she barely made it and they almost lost her several times.
After she recovered though she was never the same, her foster mother sheltered her and coddled her, Afraid something might happen to her little girl. Asha was happy however, even if she couldn't play with the others. However not all went as planned, her foster mother died a few turns later. Asha was 12 turns when she died. Having the choice of standing she tried but was rejected by the healers because of her heart's condition.
However Asha found a place in the Creche and was taught how to be of help with the other Creche workers and soon enough Asha became one of them. Loving her job passionatly, although shy, around children she was a confident loving young woman who dearly loved the children she looked after. Her first Sexual experience though came at 16 turns and was induced by a gold flight. She ended up in the bed of a rider she didn't know and was shocked the next morning with what she had done. It couldn't be helped however, it was a queen flight many had said no one had control over anything then.
Shortly after that encounter she discovered she was pregnant and upon telling the rider whom she found through his dragon was demanded to go between with it and stay there. Accusing her of bedding him to get a child out of him. It was shortly before her 17th turning she fled the Weyr-hold, afraid of what the rider might do to her and her unborn child if she stayed.
Seeking passage south she arrived, with no marks and no means of getting herself anywhere she bundled herself and left the shore line she was dropped off at. It was here she befriended a pair of wild flits, they were her companions and stayed with her, finding shelter for them to stay in when the monsoon hit. Days after the monsoon, hit, Asha was picked up by a dragon on a sweep. Taken to Nyocia she found herself recovering, her figure having wasted away, it was a miracle she and the child within had survived as long as she had.
No more than a sevenday after her arrival at the Weyr, having only turn 17 the day before, she gave birth. 14 hours of labour, one she almost did not survive, produced a bouncing and healthy baby girl. Kavira is the name she gave her daughter and she focused on raising her, however when her milk dried up no more than a month after she started breast feeding her, Asha was forced to rely on the help of the lower caverns staff, however she soon became fast friends with the Headwoman, who doted upon Asha like she would one of her own children, and delighted in seeing the growth of Kavira.
A Turn later and Asha finally decided to give Candidacy another swing, her daughter a turn old, and healthy, happy in the creche with the others, Asha found herself craving something more. So she tried again to enter, only time will tell if she is accepted this time, new Weyr, new home, maybe this time she will be accepted, based on her personal attributes and what she could bring, rather than her weaknesses.
Pets: Not so much pets but friends that drop in on her when she is alone.... Information is here for other to see only. Flits will rarely be played and the Green flit will never have a pc flight or produce playable hatchlings.

Description: Shali is a large over bearing slenderly built dark forest green. With large wings and and long body, Shali is a long distance flyer. Flighty in temperament as wilds usually are, Shali only appears to Asha when she's alone or in need of help. Although not impressed to Asha she is rather attached and is great friends with the young woman who saved her.

Species: Brown Firelizard
Description: Rahn is a deep almost brooding coloured brown. He's larger than most other browns probably because of his wild heritage. Long and deep chested he's another long distance flyer. Calmer and more trusting of Asha, Rahn may make appearences around people, mainly those who also have firelizards. Fiercely protective of Asha though he is not impressed to her, he will come to her any moment she's upset to chase away what evers troubling her.
