Adopting Green dragon from Nayarath's third clutch:
Name: Meera

Appearance: Meera is a rather average figure, standing about 5’5 and with a weight of 120 pounds. Because of her skinny nature, she has the tendency to appear taller than she really is. Her hair is wavy and thick in texture, a shiny black in color, falling freely to her shoulders. When riding, she wears her hair in a tight braid. Her skin is deeply tanned from being out in the southern sun almost constantly. She has dark eyebrows that arch delicately over almond shaped green eyes. Her nose boarders on the large side, but fortunately doesn’t detract from her features. Her smile reveals healthy white teeth. Meera wears the usual garb of the weyr, tunics and leggings and dress when called for. When fighting thread, she dons the heavier wheyr-hide clothing.
Personality: Meera is friendly to mostly everyone she meets. There are few people that manage to get on her bad side. She tends to be outgoing and playful. If someone is having a rough day, Meera likes to try and cheer them up, or at least help them sort out whatever’s troubling them. Her nature is really very kind and generous, avoiding cruelty and meanness however possible. She usually has a blunt way of speaking, though, hating going through polite customs and other tedious and trivial mannerisms in order to get to the point of the matter at hand. Meera's emotions are usually in plain sight. If she’s angry, it’s evident on her face, the same goes for if she’s concerned, sad, excited, etc. Meera has striven to become well rounded in fighting, intelligence, in holding her wine, in really any aspect, because, as a rider of Pern, she feels is is her duty. Naturally, however, in some things she fails. In fighting she is terrible and easily beaten. And, she can’t drink too much strong wine without feeling the effects. Also, even though weyrbred, Meera is uncomfortable with the promiscuity that comes with being a female in the weyr. If she could, Meera would chose to have a single mate and a single dragon fly Rhapsodith. However, being the rider of a green, her desires have yet to be met. Once your a friend of Meera's, you can count on always having a loyal and valuable ally.
History: For the first half of Meera’s life, she was brought up in one of the weyrholds on the southern continent. Her mother was a kitchen lady and her father managed the herd beasts. Being brought up in a weyrhold, Meera grew accustomed to the presence of dragons and the way of weyr life. When thread began falling again, most of the dragons in the weyrhold moved the new weyr that was being developed around the volcano that housed the new hatching sands. Meera witnessed one threadfall herself, heard it hissing through the sky, searing through dragonwing and earth. The menace was truly terrifying. She was determined to protect Pern somehow from the threat of thread. Fortunately, as the weyrhold she lived in had been all but abandoned, her parent’s decided to move to the new weyr as well. In due time Meera was accepted as a candidate, and eventually, impressed the green Rhapsodith. She has a great love for her beast, and the only thing that scares her more than being unable to protect Pern is being unable to protect Rhapsodith.
Pets: Maybe a firelizard in the future.
Other: Meera dabbled in music when she was younger. Before thread re-emerged she had fancied becoming a harper.

Appearance: Rhapsodith is the pure epitome of a green. All over, her body is just plain green, from the tip of her nose to the tips of her tail. Her body is well formed, her proportions average, her agility great but stamina low, and everything else one would expect to see in a Green. At 22 meters, she is even of average size for her color.
Personality: Rather like she is in appearance, Rhapsodith is completely a Green in mind. She has a lot of energy, loves to flirt and tease, is curious and random, and whatever else she feels like being at a given moment. Rhapsodith loves bathing though, and at least doesn’t splash her rider because she wants as much attention when it comes to baths as she can possibly get.
