Name :: Kethari
Age :: Twenty-three turns
Gender :: Female
Rank :: Greenrider
Sexuality :: Heterosexual
Relations ::• Aeyr
Aeyr is Kethari's brother, who was born around a turn before her. He wasn't Searched like his sister, and as such chose to become a Wher Handler rather than a DragonRider. He serves in the Wher Labyrinth of Danac Hold, bonded to the Blue Wher Aeysk.

Height :: 5' 08"
Weight :: 127 lbs.
Build :: While being a woman of a relatively thin, willowy build, Kethari holds surprising physical capabilities for a woman of her build. While she perhaps cannot dream of competing against a male Rider in terms of physical strength, her endurance is relatively high which allows her to remain out fighting for as long as she is needed under normal situations. Unfortunately, seeing her physical advantage is mainly in endurance, that leaves her rather restricted when it comes to heavy lifting or other such efforts that rely upon pure strength alone.
Hair :: Ari's hair is a simple, almost bluish ebony in colour. Despite the difficulty of having long hair with riding helmets, she has since refused to cut it shorter than it already is; thus, currently it hangs to around her mid-back. She normally doesn't wear any sort of decor in it, or really even pulls it back, but rather enjoys leaving it completely loose and free as nature had intended.
Eyes :: Kethari's eyes are a bright azure colour on most occasions, though they seem to darken or lighten in shade depending on her mood. Sometimes, they appear almost silver and other times nearly navy, though a general rule seems to be: the lighter they are the more content she is. Their normal colour of a simple, light azure seems to be more of a neutral colour, which is generally the attitude she chooses to keep.
Clothing :: Normally sporting rather loose, simple clothing like most individuals that find themselves as DragonRiders, Kethari's clothing seems to consist mainly of natural colours. Tans and greens dominate most of her attire, providing an almost earthy look to her. Her simple, pale green tunic ends at around her waist, giving it an almost skirt-like appearance, and her tan leggings only extend to her knees, which causes a bit of her pale skin to show before her leather boots hide it once more. While she doesn't wear it while riding, she also occasionally sports a tan cloak, which is generally tossed around her neck so it drapes over her shoulders.
Markings :: Kethari's only marking is generally hidden by her clothing and is rarely mentioned by her unless she is straightout asked. Along her back she sports a long scar, which extends from the base of her shoulder to around her hip. One could say it's a symbol of remembrance to show for a notable event in her history.
Accessories :: Preferring to keep herself as simple as possible, Kethari doesn't normally wear any sort of jewelry or other accessories unless it is necessary for some sort of special occasion.

Kind
Generally open and friendly to most, Kethari holds a special fondness towards Candidates and Weyrlings. Normally she can be found hanging around their barracks, talking with them and giving them any advice she can think of for the trials that are yet to come in their futures as DragonRiders. She tries to avoid judging others when at all possible, though, even with her kind demenour, there are still the times where she finds an individual that can particularly grind on her nerves.
Calm
Even with her naturally kind personality, Kethari doesn't normally show much emotion [at least most of the time]. While a smile is fairly common, she generally keeps a straight face and relies on her actions to speak more for her than her expressions. She has a warm feel to her gaze, which can be compared to an almost motherly look. She normally can keep a clear head when it comes to tiresome or otherwise dangerous situations, but she does, however, seem to be a bit prone to worry.
Worrisome
While she doesn't so much worry about the older Riders, Kethari normally worries considerably about younger individuals. She has a heavily established hatred of Thread because of how dangerous it is to those inexperienced with its destruction, which has since evolved into an almost overprotective nature toward those that may not be able to defend themselves. However, she normally keeps her more severe feelings of worry closely guarded in order to still retain an appearance of self-control.
Nature-Lover
Keeping to the theme that her attire seems to set for herself, Kethari has a distinct love of the natural world around her. She normally finds tranquility when surrounded by plantlife, and as such as since allowed foliage to flourish in her Weyr under her tender care. She has a respect for the wildness around her, and does all she can to prevent herself from harming it if it's within her power to do so. She frowns on others disturbing the natural order, though typically only expresses her feelings on it in the forme of a sort of warning more so than actually directly forcing the individuals to stop whatever they may doing.
Shy
More so directed to the aspect of a relationship than normal conversation, Kethari has relatively mixed feelings in reference to the aspects of a relationship. She normally gets nervous and doesn't know how to act when it becomes obvious someone has an attraction to her, and as a result normally does her best to ignore it in order to prevent herself from looking like a fool. She isn't the type to openly admit any of her own feelings, and as such generally keeps such emotions deeply hidden. As a result, it takes a bit of a push to get her to fully admit any such thing, and even then is may be in a bit of a stammering, blushing fasion.
Sister
As the sister of the Wher Handler, Aeyr, Kethari generally tries to find as much time as possible to spend with her older brother. She's the most relaxed while in his company, and typically fully opens up then and abandons her normally calm atmosphere to act like any sister should. She has an extremely close, emotional bond to Aeyr, and typically relies on him for support while she's troubled or upset more so than anyone else.

Childhood
Kethari was born as the younger sibling of two, being only around a turn younger than her older brother, Aeyr. Their family was one of the more wealthy of the Hold they had come to call home, and unfortunately their parents grew to be considered somewhat 'snobbish' because of it. Her parents weren't the most liked in the Hold, and were known to turn away requests for even small amounts of help for their less fortunate bretheran. As a result, Kethari and Aeyr were forced to grow up away from other kids their age due to the fact it was expected that they would turn out to be just like their parents.
Even though they had anything one could ask for, the siblings craved friendship of others and generally tried their best to make it obvious they were the exact opposite of those that raised them. However, they were still turned away repeatedly, and grew to rely on each other for company and companionship. While it helped to strengthen their sibling bond, both individuals couldn't help to feel like outcasts; people that were disliked and hated even though they weren't even known.
Kethari soon turned to the other adults in the Hold, particularly a young woman, Kaleen, who served as a dancer in one of the Hold's taverns. Entranced by the woman's movements and her grace in following the music, Kethari visited her repeatedly to watch the woman dance. Kaleen, who at first wondered why a girl of little more than eleven turns was at a tavern, soon realized that Kethari was visiting to see her. Fond of the thought, the dancer finally approached the young girl and offered to teacher her to dance if she so wished.
Overjoyed by the offer, Kethari immediately agreed, and her visits to Kaleen grew more and more frequent. Aeyr began to feel a bit dejected now that his sister seemed to have found someone else to spend time with, though he soon grew used to it and continued with his own life while scavenging the occasional conversation with Kethari in her spare time. Kethari, meanwhile, was beginning to become adept at the flowing movements of a dancer, and had even began to pick up a strange language that Kaleen seemed to occasionally speak in during her teachings.
The woman seemed to notice Kethari's interest in the language, and chose to teach her in more depth. It was a welcome change for Kaleen, for most seemed to scrutinize her use of the strange language and take it for merely an eccentricity. As Kethari became more fluent in the language, she began to shorten her time spent with Kaleen and instead focused on her brother again, beginning to teach him the language as well.
However, Kaleen soon seemed to have disappeared from her normal post at the tavern. Rather upset by the disappearance of the woman she had grown to consider her friend, Kethari began to search the Hold for her, asking here and there about her whereabouts. After a few suggestions, Kethari [who was now sixteen turns] finally found the dancer. Horrified by the girl's appearance, Kaleen tried frantically to urge Kethari to go away.
Kethari was hurt by the woman's strange actions, but remained, asking why she had suddenly disappeared, though Kaleen continued urging. Kethari finally decided to do as Kaleen asked, and turned to leave, only to find her exit blocked.
The Dark Man
The individual that blocked Kethari's escape was furious that the young girl had managed to stumble upon his home, and promptly attacked her. Kethari managed to avoid the first few blows from the blade the man held thanks to her training as a dancer under Kaleen, however, one finally struck. Kethari cried out in pain as the blade sliced through her clothing and left a deep gash extending from her shoulder to her waist, leaving her incapable of defending herself any longer.
Kaleen, who had been terrified, suddenly leaped on the assultant, dragging him down with her as she attempted to give Kethari a chance to flee. Unfortunately, the man soon overpowered her and managed to get her out of his way permently before focusing his attention back on Kethari. While he had initially been hoping to keep Kaleen alive to serve as a source of entertainment and income once he left the Hold, her actions had forced him to instead place his eyes on a new victim.
Kethari was terrified and attempted to use anything she could to shield herself, however, no blow ever came. Having been worried about his sister when she began to run about the Hold asking about Kaleen, Aeyr had followed her and had managed to arrive at the house in time to hit the man from behind, rendering him unconcious. The Lord Holder was alerted about the man's actions and, within a few days, he was hung for the murder of the dancer Kaleen.
Moving On
Relieved by the turn of events that had saved their daughter, Kethari's parents changed their ways and, over the next few turns, prepared to leave the Hold and start anew; away from the unwelcome attitude they had gained themselves due to their selfishness. However, even in the time that wore on, Kethari's parents were terrified about the prospect that their daughter's life would be threatened again and, a few sevendays before they left the Hold, purchased a canine for her protection.
The family moved to a newly established Hold known as Danac Hold, where they once created their home. However, most of their wealth went to the Hold's aide, which left them leading comfortable lives without the overembelishment wealth could bring. Kethari had dubbed the canine she had been given Kaleen, after the woman who had became one of her closest friends at her old Hold before her untimely death.
Kethari chose to work as a tavernmaid for a turn after their arrival in Danac Hold, however, she was soon Searched and, much to her parent's surprise, chose to accept the responsibilities of a DragonRider. Aeyr, who was proud of his sister though a bit disappointed he hadn't been Searched, instead chose to seek to bond to a Wher at the nearby Wher Labyrinth.
Kethari served as a Candidate for a turn, until Gold Unuth laid her first clutch. Hopeful that she would be chosen, she attended the hatching Much to her surprise, the cries of KthariMine! I am Ansraeth! Allow me to be Yours! The voice proved to be that of a dark green hatchling, and, overjoyed, Kethari didn't even respond as the small creature put her front claws up on her expectantly with her small mouth open wide.
Kethari [who was now more oftenly referred to as Ari] and Ansraeth grew together, as did Aeyr and the Wher that had chosen to bond to him, though the siblings never lost contact and even still continue to spend as much time together as possible.

Pets ::Canine Kaleen
Age :: Five Turns
Gender :: Female
Appearance :: Kaleen seems to resemble a crossbreed between a Terran Collie and German Shepard. While she has the general build and strength of the latter, her colouration and fur-length seems to be based more along the longer, orange and white shades found in the Terran Collie.
Personality :: Loyal and friendly to no end, Kaleen doesn't seem to fear dragons and as such normally accompanies Kethari whenever she can. Generally a cheerful individual, she seems to enjoy talking with her mistress by using Ansraeth as a sort of middle-body [if the dragon feels like it] by using the dragon's mental capabilities to send pictures first to Ansraeth, who then sends them to Kethari.
Name Inspiration :: Named after the murdered dancer Kaleen.
Color Code :: Antiquewhite or FAEBD7
Tan Flitt Feraudrim
Age :: Newborn
Gender :: Male
Appearance :: A rather light coloured Tan, Feraudrim [or Fera] nevertheless has the additional darker markings that most Tan species have. Proving to be more black than brown, which is a dark contrast to his lighter colouration, these markings adorn his muzzle, feet, and appears in stripes down his back and around his legs.
Personality :: A rather proud individual, Feraudrim generally puts his all into everything to prove just how grand he is. He could be described as a bit forceful [particularly when food is involved], though his antics at trying to appear to be the best can be found to be a bit amusing, particularly when he attempts to do things he isn't capable of.
Name Inspiration :: 'Champion Flier' in the language Kethari and Aeyr occasionally use.
Color Code :: Moccasin or FFE4B5
Other Notes :: Occasionally speaks in a strange language, which seems to serve as a forme of private communication to her brother..
Password :: Needlethorn

Dragon Name :: Ansraeth
Dragon Age :: Three turns
Dragon Size :: Twenty meters
Dragon Colour :: Green
Dragon Appearance :: A creature of a deep green colour, Ansraeth is nevertheless far from one shade. Her wing membranes are much lighter then the rest of her body, and she seems to have lighter stripes going down her back. Her claws, however, are an even darker shade, creating an impression of her wearing nearly black boots. Her build is rather thin and lithe, however, her endurance isn't the best which normally causes short Flights when she Rises.
Dragon Personality :: Like her Rider, Ansraeth seems to have a soft spot for individuals younger than herself and typically takes on an almost motherly personality when around them. While this is rather strange for a Green dragon considering they lack the ability to clutch, she seems to use this as her method of making up for such a thing as motherhood. During Flights, she also seems to search for father-like characteristics in possible mates and typically shows a deeper degree of affection for any that may manage to catch her than most Greens.
Name Inspiration :: 'Ansraer' which means 'Rune Singer'.
Colour Code :: Darkgreen or 006400

To The Staff :: Her dragon is an adopted Green from Unuth's clutch =3 Also, sorry if the profile as a whole is a bit jumpy. I had a lot going on around me while I was writing it xP The 'strange language' is actually various types of Elvish, though obviously Elvish doesn't exist in Pern =3 It's just something I have one or two of my characters speak in once in a while seeing it's amusing xD
