Big-handed, palms and fingers striped with callouses, you’d never mistake K'dric for anything but a hard worker. He is rather broad-shouldered, with well-defined muscles usually hidden under a stained shirt. His trousers are much-patched, and often dirty. Paw-prints cover from mid-thigh to just under his navel, and a new rip suggests a recent canine attack.
He has grey-green eyes, and keeps his brown-blonde hair cropped short in the manner of a Holder. It’s rumoured that if he were to grow his hair out, it would be curly. His adam’s apple is somewhat prominent, and is in possession of lips that might look better on a girl.
Personality:
K'dric’s manners are rather rough around the edges, but he makes an effort to be chivalrous. When and elder enters a room, he’ll offer his seat, wait until the lady has broken her bread, and such. But on his own time, he’s a goofy young adult, complete with booming voice, coarse jokes, and enjoyment at the expense of others’ dignity.
He’s very business-like when it comes to something he’s good at, like plowing, or maybe the occasional trade.
History:
A son of the Hold, Kendric has long been acquainted with hard work. His family consists of farmers, and he learned at a young age how to direct draybeasts while plowing. His grandfather was still alive by the time Kendric was born, the fourth of seven children, but he passed on before the birth of his fifth grandchild. Kendric was only three, so the death didn’t affect him much, but it was the only one he’d had to deal with.
People death, that is. He’s adopted one of the canines from the Hold’s Mother Canine for Turns, and at one point, he had five canines vying for his attention.
Kendric Impressed blue Kalen when he was fifteen. He traded for his egg with a daughter of the Hold-proper, trading a puppy for three eggs. One, which he presented to his mother, turned into a Bronze, his father received a Green, and he managed to attach the Blue, but it was a near thing. His mother’s Bronze had turned cannibal on the much smaller lizard, until Kendric rescued him. The blue has remained with him ever since.
He obtained Dun from another clutch, this one belonging to a violet owned by one of the Lord’s daughters. He traded a…specific service…to the amorous young lady, and she gave him first pick of the newly laid clutch. The Lord was furious that his daughter carried ‘scum’s get’, and threatened to Renegade him. Fortunately, his daughter intervened, and he was merely given a bit of a stigma. In the meantime, he trained Kalen to take messages to his non-handfasted lover, and bring them back. He has a healthy son, now two Turns old.
When the brown came to Search recently, he found Kendric acceptable enough to take. He wasn’t in contention for Golden Nayarth’s clutch, but if Violet Kelth clutches, he’ll be there.
Well, Violet Kelth did clutch, and Kendric's sole mate was among those Hatched. A little Barred, who had seemed to reject all the available candidates, spotted him, and ran over, chortling.

Personality: Friendly canine, Besha likes to play tug-of-war with Kendric’s trousers, resulting in all those rips. He feels like everyone is his best friend, and greets people by planting his paws on their shoulders, and licking their face.

Appearance: A darker blue, Kalen is a chittery little lizard, always has something to do. His wings are always moving, be it flying, or just shifting their position while folded.
Personality: Jumpy, flighty, fickle; all these are words made to describe Kalen. He is everything Kendric is not, which is playful, obnoxious, and a great flirt.

Appearance: An exceptionally light tan, the dark dorsal stripes and legs are particularly striking on this medium sized lizard. His wings have dark shading along the sail bones, and the tip of his forked tail is also shaded dark.
Personality: More stable than his flighty cousin, Dun learned early that the ladies are more impressed by a stoic Tan than a flighty Blue, and has used that to his advantage in numerous flights. He is fond of lilacs, but will never pass up a Green flight. He has not yet participated in a Gold flight.

Appearance: Minervath’s hide is more silver than green. It is a light shade of silver that seems shiny when the sun hits it just right. Her purple streaks are also light, a shade of pale lavender. She is dainty for a Barred, but she carries herself with such grace that no one notices her small size.
Personality: Minervath is quiet and reserved. She doesn’t speak unless she really has something to say, but when she does, it is usually something profound and important. She does talk a lot to her rider, but prefers to be more introverted with everyone else. Minervath is very observant, and she likes to think a problem through before acting. She loves to give advice to her rider, and will calmly guide her through all sorts of trouble.
