"BACCUTH!"
The screech echoed around the weyrbowl, an unusually loud sound for so quiet a time of day. Most riders were relaxing in the middle of the day, having lunch or resting afterwards. Not so for Rosalind and Baccuth. Rather, she'd been attempting to relax, leaning back against a rock that was now occupied by Hush. She'd been leaning back, soaking up the sun, and then rather abruptly had her jacket stolen out from behind her head. Which had serve two purposes; to make he head hurt, and to make her swear loudly. At first, she hadn't realised what had happened, and it was only after several moments of confused looking about that she saw her dragon prancing about with it in his mouth.
So she'd immediately jumped up and began chasing the dark blue around, which was exactly what the excitable blue wanted. Really, they were as bad as each other, Hush noted as he watched them, only one whirling eye opened. Right afterwards, as he saw they would be at it a while, the hatchling tan went right back to sleep, curling up on the warm rock. Rosie however, made another vain leap for the jacket being held just out of her reach. For all her annoyance though, amusement sparkled in her blue eyes as Baccuth chuckled in his own way and moved slightly again. It was often the two played together, usually at the lake, considering they were both just as excitable as each other.
He was a bad influence. Rosie thought this often, usually when she was soaked to the skin in winter, or covered in dirt. Then, she was a bad influence on him too. Had she been a calmer person, he wouldn't be half the pain he was. And if he was a little calmer she wouldn't be half the pain she was. He'd thought her the right match for him though, and Rosie couldn't imagine being with anyone else. Still, it was exhausting, and it meant she slept well... Another leap for the jacket was made, this time the blue almost let her get it before she slipped and hit the ground on her backside and the dragon laughed.
Can't get me!
