Tyrth was not happy.
The white dragon's reason for not being happy was obvious. Somehow, he had gotten covered in dust, which had dried onto his white hide and formed streaks.
"No, Tyrth. Don't go in the water. If you do, it'll turn into mud and stick," Gwen was trying to insist to the white dragon, who was determined to bathe.
"It's easier to brush it off dry. Trust me." Tyrth, being white, had a much better memory than most dragons, but he didn't seem to be doing too well with the concept of 'brush off dry dust'. Before Gwen could protest any further, he had plunged into the water.
Sigh. "Dragons!" Gwenduinne declared to anyone who might be listening. Which, of course, got a snort from the now wet...and, yes muddy...white. Who was now going to expect her to clean him pronto.
