Visok
The Visok Wing is for the Weyrs largest males- Bronzes and Tans. They fly the highest to get the largest clumps of Thread before they fall to lower altitudes. The dragons here have the most stamina and can usually fly a whole Threadfall without having to pause for rest unless they get injured.

Meio Wing
The Meio Wing is for the more middle-sized dragons of the Weyr, usually Browns and the smaller Tans. They fly at a height below the Visok Wing, but are still higher than the rest. A little more agile but with a little less staying power than the larger Bronzes, these dragons try to get as much as they can of the Thread the Visok dragons missed.

Raute Wing
The Raute Wing is made up of the smallest dragons, Blues and Greens. Although they are usually the most agile, most don't have the stamina to fly a whole Threadfall and have to switch out with others of their color often. They fly below the Meio Wing and dart around to char what Thread was missed by the two Wings above.

Sahane Wing
The Sahane Wing is made up of queen dragons. Gold's get agenothree tanks attached to their saddles so that their riders can use flamethrowers to flame Thread while Violets can chew firestone and so flame Thread the way most dragons do. They fly at the lowest altitude, getting what was missed by the above Wings.

Tanar Wing
The Tanar Wing is for Weyrlings, all dragons two years and younger and their riders. Weyrlings do not actually fly Thread but transport firestone for the older dragons to use.
