I'll be in and out for a while, but I'll try to be in more often than I'm out.
My sister's in the hospital after she got hit by a drunk driver, so I'll be spending a lot of time with her.
Just thought I'd let you know.

D: How sad! Is she alright? (Or at least as alright as one can be after being hit by a drunk driver... >.<)

She'll live. That's about all we know at this point. She was in a coma for two days, but now she's drugged up to her gills to cope with the pain. She has burns - second and third degree - on her left side, and she has about ten broken bones.
The idiot walked off completely unharmed.

It is scary...for a while, we didn't even think she was going to wake up. And it's such a shame...she was the pretty one of the family. Wow, weird to be thinking that, but it's true. She's gonna need at least a year of therapy just to walk again. So...yeah. I just hope she's strong enough to go through that. She might not be able to get over it, which is the scariest part.
Just keep her in your thoughts? Please?

That's horrible! At least the idiot's gonna be serving jail time, right? It makes me really angry with how irresponsible some people can be. ><
I hope your sister has an easy recovery. It probably won't be easy but with a sister like you to support her, I'm sure she'll make it. :3

She started physical therapy today. So far, they're trying to get her to bend her left knee. It was completely shattered in the crash, so that's all bionic.
Told her she should make a show called 'Bionic Woman', and was archly informed that already happened.
