A weyr established by riders exiled to the southern continent and nearly forgotten, Aldesia Weyr is it's only defense against the meance of Thread. Once strong and powerful, Aldesia Weyr and Cerosia Hold existed in realitve peace with each other. But, that changed as quickly as a dragon jumps between from place to place. An unknown and devastatin plaque swept through both weyr and hold, crippling and killing riders, weyrfolk, and holdfolk alike, few escaped it.
Aldesia Weyrs Weyrwoman and only gold queen were hit hard by the plaque, as well as the weyrleader. The weyrleader died and the weyrwoman followed soon after him. The golden queen was still egg heavy when her rider died and nearly went insane, almost taking the last hope of Aldesia Weyr had of ever regaining its numbers with her into between. But she stayed, and the gold laid her clutch, including two queen eggs that would help raise the numbers of Aldesia Weyr. And she went between.
Rayelle and her silver queen, Daritith, transfered all the way to Aldesia Weyr to look after the clutch and help get the weyr back on its feet. The clutch hatched and every last dragonnet Impressed, bringing new hope and energy to the weyr. Then, Daritith took flight and was claimed L'rek's bronze, Lanith, making the Aldesia Weyr's new Weyrwoman and Weyrleader. But there are still problems for the weyr as Threadfall continues and the problem of the felines grows worse. Even tensions between weyr and hold are beginning to get to the breaking point....
Aldesia Weyr is a non-canon Pern RP, including sport colors such as crimsons, and shadows(black)... and two new colors are going to be introduced soon!! Aldesia Weyr is all about having fun and random events such as gathers and games will appear with little or no warning at all, with fun prizes included, so don't miss out.
Silver Queen Daritith has laid a clutch of 33 eggs, including 1 queen egg and we still need lots of candidates. Gold Wher Ryaks has started her run, meaning there will be a clutch of wher eggs soon and they'll need candidates as well!
A summer gather is being held with contests and prizes, so don't miss out!!
We are still accepting applications for Bronze, Crimons, and Brown riders, wherhandlers, and some high ranking positions in both weyr, hold, and crafthalls need filling.
