The lake was such a dirty place. Why his dragon wanted to bathe in there was a mystery. He knew that there was nowhere else big enough to bathe a dragon, but the lake was not an appealing place for him to be spending his time. He didn’t like the lack of clarity in the water and the muck on the bottom of the lake was disgusting.
You just like to complain, Tikisith insisted, flicking his tail along the bottom of the lake as he attempted to urge his rider in. He wanted to be properly scrubbed and His couldn’t do that from on the shore. He would have to at least wade into the shallows.
“No I don’t. I just don’t want to go into mucky, disgusting waters. Who knows what’s in there.” I’mny shook his head. This was a battle that played out since they were weyrlings. It’d just gotten worse as the pair grew older. Both were stubborn, but I’mny always caved in the end. He knew that his dragon needed to be scrubbed, so he’d just fuss until he had to do it.
Tekisith snorted, Get in already and scrub me![/i] He wasn’t having fun with this game. He itched and he hated itching. I’mny sighed, rolling up his pants’ legs and wading out. “You better get into the shallows.” This was nasty. [/size]

Tianthe chirped cheerfully to the Blue in the lake and whirled towards it; helping bathe dragons was fun when their riders didn't chase her away. Some didn't seem to appreciate the help of such a lovely Green, something the fire-lizard would never understand.
Tirasha paused as her Green flitted away, not wanting to follow her into the lake but not wanting to just walk off without Tianthe either. Willow, as usual, sat on her shoulder and didn't appear as though he was planning to move anytime soon. He would rather watch his clutch-sister than help out. If Tirasha told him to he might go though, but for now she looked to only be watching too.
Tianthe, meanwhile, made a quick circle around the rider's head, chattering loudly as though making the announcement that she was here and planning to work, and then flew over in front of the Blue to introduce herself.

Once again Roluth had C'it about to go to work on his hide. A nice scrubbing about twice a week always made Roluth happy.
" Let's just make this quick, shall we? Then we can relax on the shore!" C'it smiled and patted the Blue on the shoulder as they descended to the lake.
Someone else is here too! Roluth remarked as he glided, and then melded with the water.
" Yeah, scrubbing their dragon. Alright now, let's get this done!" C'it said. He didn't mind it really, he just really didn't like to get sweaty and muddy...that was all.
He waved to the near by Blue and rider and then began to scrub at Roluth's back.

I’mny scowled as the little green darted towards his dragon. Tekisith had a weakness for the little ones and his rider wasn’t very fond of them. The little blue always tried to try and convince His to attach one of his own, but I’mny always found something that he needed to be doing during the hatchings. Tekisith was never too happy with that.
Hello cousin, Tekisith greeted, ignoring his rider’s negative thoughts again. He liked the little flitts and this one looked like she wanted to help. Don’t encourage her, I’mny scolded, beginning to gather sweetsand in his hands. The sooner this was over the better. You going to help? Tekisith asked, ignoring His and focusing of the flitter.
He loved it when firelizards helped clean him; they were great scrubbers even if they did make His more grumpy. It didn’t matter to him, His would get over it. He just wanted a bath.
And then more company came. Tekisith was delighted. He ignored the humans, he didn't like them, but the dragon was better. Hello, he greeted the dragon, pulling himself a little closer to the water. He wanted His to be able to clean all of him. I'mny just continued to scowl, carelessly waving back at the other bluerider. He was not in the mood for this.

C'it was a little confused. It seemed that the other Blue rider was not even the least bit happy to be scrubbing his dragon...well, there were all sorts.
Roluth gurgled in satisfaction as C'it began to hit the more itchy spots on his back. He turned his head to the other dragon, Ah, Tekisith isn't it? Hello there!
Roluth loved any kind of company, but decided not to tell his rider that there was a woman here as well, a woman with two fire-lizards. Maybe he could make his rider do something funny...and embarrass him in front of this girl.
Roluth rumbled.

Tianthe gave an excited trill as the Blue spoke to her and then dove under the water to come up with a pawful of sweetsand. The dragon's rider didn't look too happy about her presence, but she would show him she could wash a dragon just like he did! And there was another dragon now too, she could help him too!
But not quite yet. Tianthe landed daintily on the Blue's back and began scrubbing at a patch of hide she thought needed it.
Tirasha sat down on the edge of the lake, drawing her knees to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. It didn't look like the first Bluerider was too happy about Tianthe being there, but the Green wasn't the slightest bit deterred. "Want to go join her?" Tirasha glanced playfully at Willow, who snorted. He wasn't going to go offend riders, and preferred Tirasha's shoulder anyways.
