Stupid ethernet.

First of all, I have discovered that my computer doesn't pick up any WiFi in my new dorm room. Second of all, the ethernet jacks don't appear to work. One is hanging out of the wall, the other just does nothing when I plug it in. Erk. Of course, I can still use WiFi in the main lounge, but said lounge is three flights below my room and located close to the rooms of obnoxious people, thus making me reluctant to visit it. So...indefinite absenceness from me. >.<
