Tirasha had been very surprised (luckily it was early enough that few others were present or awake enough to notice) when she entered the infirmary to find a small bouquet of flowers on the cot that V'ire seemed to prefer.
And later, when she returned briefly to her chambers, she found more flowers there. WAs this what the fire-lizards had planned? Had the Weyrling had anything to do with it?
She didn't need need flowers, and didn't like the message they carried either. The last thing Tirasha needed was a weyrling flirting with her.
He wanted to take her to a meadow, the one all these flowers came from? And he said the best time to go was when the sun was setting. That was viewed by many as a very romantic time of day. Shards! What had she gotten herself into?
But she had said she would go... and the images Tianthe showed her only made her more curious. The place looked so pretty! Surely she could avoid anything undesireable. Weyrlings had very strict rules anyways.
It was evening, that was when V'ire said Elisth's hide got itchy, wasn't it? Tirasha didn't want to inconvenience him too much, she would go when he had reason to be going too. The infirmary could spare her for a bit. Sitting down on a cot, Tirasha scribbled out a message and called Tianthe over to deliver it.
Hopefully it's not too much of a bother to you, but I have time and would like to see your meadow? Short and to the point in Tirasha's opinion. Tianthe wriggled impatiently while the Healer attached it to a foreleg, then the Green quickly betweened to find V'ire.

Gathering a towel for a little drying of himself should he get a little wet bathing Elisth...which almost always happened...the three were about to walk out when Tianthe popped in. V'ire saw the note and smiled at the fire-lizard. " Just in time little one. Let me take this, like a ride back to Yours?" He took off the note and gave the Green a little scratch on the eye-ridges. Elisth wanted to bathe, but someone wanted to see her Meadow too! This was going to be fun. V'ire smiled down at Elisth. " Let's go pick Tirasha up at the Infirmary, there first...I don't know where she lives." ****************** V'ire and Elisth stopped outside of the Infirmary. He peeked his head in and looked around. " Tirasha? Are you there?"

Tianthe was very happy to get a ride. She plopped herself onto Elisth's back and watched in fascination at every movement of the dragonets. Perhaps they were of similar color, but everything from size to the way their feet were designed were different. It was all very amazing in Tianthe's opinion.
Once they reached the infirmary though, Tianthe hopped off Elisth's back and flew over to Tirasha in a flurry of excited chirps. He came, they could go to the pretty flower place! Willow chirped too and hopped onto Tirasha's shoulder before she could even react to V'ire's question.
"Yes..." And it looked like her fire-lizards were raring to go. She walked over and smiled slightly at the weyrling and dragonet (and fire-lizard, if Kiyo's there too). "How's Elisth?" Tianthe landed on Tirasha's head, her bite-wound hurting again, but began to chatter impatiently. She wanted to go to the pretty flower place! Why were they talking?

V'ire was a little glad to see Tirasha, he would admit that to himself. It had only been a few days...if that, but he doubted that she would like him expressing that. Little did he know, his smile did just that. And so did Kiyo, feeding off his Keeper's emotions.
" Well hello. I'd say we are fairly fine...Elisth will be better once she's bathed. Did you ever figure out what the fire-lizards got up to the other day?" V'ire asked her this as he stepped out of the way and motioned for her to start walking to the Bowl.
" The Meadow is a little off to one side of the Bowl...surprising that no riders have ever seen it. Maybe they know it's there, just no one cares that much about privacy here." He shrugged and walked on.
Elisth gave a happy gurgle, but wasn't in much of a mood to talk with her skin so itchy.

Tianthe began to chatter to Kiyo, happily complaining about how slow their keepers were. Tirasha bit back a sigh- at Tianthe, and her own worries about V'ire. She only wanted to see this meadow.
"They were gathering flowers." She rolled her eyes. "Tianthe and Willow have gotten a headstart on your meadow from Kiyo." Although quick to get rid of the flowers in the infirmary, Tirasha now had a room with a bowl full of them. She didn't know what to do with those; just throwing them away felt wrong. Tianthe had fun arranging them anyways, of all things for a fire-lizard to find enjoyment in.
Tirasha followed him out of the infirmary and nodded. "If it's just a little dip in the wall, maybe they wouldn't have though." The wall around the Bowl was inconstistent by nature. It seemed likely enough that a rider could see a dip, but not see just how blocked off it was, from up above. But it could be something else entirely... she'd have to see.

V'ire gave a shrug. " Could be, but it's not really on the wall. It's just a dip in the regular Bowl, off to the side a little...so maybe that's why."
Kiyo gave a decided chirp and climbed onto V'ire's head like Tianthe was on Tirasha's. He gave a chirp to Tianthe in agreement to her impatience to get to the flowers. He only knew that their Keepers couldn't go very fast...and he would be patient.
Elisth was getting impatient! She was ready to bathe! She brushed Her's mind with her impatience and it only made him smile and speed up a little.
" Regardless, it's full of beautiful flowers. A very nice place to relax after a good day's work." V'ire laughed.

"Mmm." Tirasha grinned slightly as Kiyo clambered onto V'ire's head... apparently Tianthe was setting an example. The Green gurgled softly and then turned her head to chatter at the Blue, now at an elevation quite a bit above hers. Why did Tirasha have to be so short?
Willow simply stuck to Tirasha's shoulder, looking straight ahead and probably impatient to some extent too, but unwilling to show it. Greens had no self control, he noticed by watching Tianthe and Elisth, and he didn't want to sink to their level.
Tirasha nodded. "It looks like you won't be able to relax until Elisth's gotten her oiling though." She laughed softly and increased the speed of her strides to keep up with boy and dragonet. Maybe Tirasha could help.. she knew a little about oiling a dragon's hide. Enough weyrlings had come to the infirmary in the past whining about how their dragon's skin was getting cracked and it wouldn't stop whining about how itchy it was, she had been forced to learn that skill.

Kiyo looked down at Tianthe, now more comfortable on the cushy hair of his Keeper, and chattered and sent her images of the nice little river-like flow that was also present in the meadow...they could bathe with Elisth!
V'ire smiled and looked up at the Blue on his head. " I guess he's taken a liking to Tianthe to copy her. He copies Elisth a lot, but all she does right now is eat and sleep." He laughed at that and walked out into the Bowl, turning left and walking still as fast as he had been.
" Just a little farther Tirasha. Elisth can bathe and get oiled at her convenience at our Meadow, no one else is around to pester her. She does enjoy a good rub down...though don't get to close to her when she is bathing or you'll have to borrow my towel."
He smiled at Tirasha as he headed for the Meadow, having been there a good few times...he knew they weren't far when he saw the small rise of the drop off. " Not too far at all."

Tianthe chattered excitedly and replied to the young Blue's images with her own of the little outcrop she had grown up on. The beach, the silly birds, all the water and wild fire-lizards, lots of yummy packtails, and the great big boats with their billowy sails. The Green didn't quite miss all that, but she knew Hers did and it influenced herself to reminisce.
"I guess so." Tianthe probably wasn't the best fire-lizard to try and immitate, unless he were to catch her sometime when she was being good. That was a rare thing though, the Green was good at confusing even the simplest orders. Although that was usually just after carrying them out... but still irritating.
Tirasha nodded. "I don't mind getting wet." She didn't understand those people who worried about water. They drank it, they bathed in it, they swam in it; why was it so different when something splashed them?
Well, Elisth looked plenty ready to be there. "Alright." Tirasha couldn't think of much more to say. Tianthe chirped excitedly though and took off from the Healer's head to fly ahead. She flicked her tail in invitation for Kiyo to follow; Tianthe liked this little Blue.

Kiyo didn't like being taunted. As soon as he saw the tail flick, he shot off of V'ire's head after the Green. Chirping at her and trying to beat her to the flowers. He flew faster and faster, almost even with Tianthe.
Elisth was the first to make it to the dip, well besides the flying fire-lizards. She hopped on down out of site and moved a little into the meadow. She got fairly close to the water, impatient to get washed and oiled.
V'ire got to the dip and jumped down as well, used to doing it by now. " Ok Tirasha, give me your hand and I'll help you down. It's a little jarring the first time so I'm happy to cushion the blow."
V'ire knew it would be worth it, the meadow was very beautiful and flowered. Though you could tell where the fire-lizards had gathered the flowers.

Tianthe gurgled as the Blue started to catch up with her. He was still a little baby, she was much faster. With a playful chirp, she picked up her speed before twisting suddenly and plunging into the water. Any friend of hers had to know how to swim.
Tirasha watched curiously as Elisth suddenly disappeared, just as Tianthe and Kiyo had. Next went V'ire, but she was close enough to see where he went. This was the meadow? How curious that something could be hidden so well... "Okay.."
Although she held out her hand, Tirasha figured she could jump down just fine if V'ire would just move out of the way.

V'ire clutched Tirasha's hand and helped her down. " Easy does it the first time...and yes...I know you could have more than likely done it on your own, but I didn't want to chance you getting hurt while you were with me." He shrugged and let go of her hand, turning away to hide the slight blush on his features.
Elisth was already at the water's edge. She was definately ready to bathe and be oiled, then it was time to watch the sun set and maybe take a nap. Come on Mine and Tirasha! Bathe me! I Itch!
Kiyo splashed into the water like a torpedo after the older and faster Green. He looked around under the water to find her...but couldn't. He wasn't one to pass up the opportunity to just swim though! So now Kiyo was paddling around in circles merrily chirping at Elisth and anyone that would listen.

"Of course." Tirasha stepped lightly down and looked around. Seen for herself rather than through a fire-lizard's eyes, the meadow seemed that much prettier. Trying to ignore the slight twinge of worry that arose at how quickly V'ire turned away after helping her down, Tirasha took a few steps further in.
She paused again when Elisth's voice entered her mind. Did the dragon have to keep talking to her? "Do you want me to help bathe her?" Tirasha turned to V'ire, attempting to be polite. Elisth sounded like she wanted Tirasha to help at least.
Tianthe surfaced shortly after Kiyo started circling around the pond, gurgling at how the young Blue couldn't find her. Green didn't blend in with water as well as his color did, but oh well. It felt good to outsmart someone, even if it was just a young fire-lizard.

V'ire composed himself and looked back at Tirasha. " If you want to help, she'd love it. Elisth loves any kind of attention. But if you don't want to help bathe her...she'd always love you to oil her. Don't worry, I know how."
Kiyo had spotted Tianthe's head and took a deep breath. He dived and came up right in front of the Green. Surprise!
Elisth dunked in a forepaw to test the water. It was always nice here, like none of the cold got to this part of the water. V'ire bathed here sometimes too...but probably not today. Elisth gave a look at Tirasha, that would be interesting.

Tianthe gurgled at the sudden appearance of Kiyo and gave her tail a swish to send a little water flying at the Blue before she ducked under again and swam towards the shore. She didn't leave the water, not yet, but wanted to get somewhere shallower that she could just watch everyone else from.
Tirasha nodded. "I could." That's what V'ire had come for anyways, she could help and then explore the meadow... Willow chirped, he would help too. He was a fire-lizard, of course he knew how to care for a dragon's hide. They weren't very different.
"What?" Tirasha looked back at Elisth with raised eyebrows. What was the dragon thinking now? It was kind of irritating to have Elisth there looking at her, with no idea why she was.

V'ire walked to the water. " Then by all means, I'm not going to stop you. I'd love the help. And that look tells me so would she." V'ire grinned and threw off his shirt. No use getting it wet and then having to take it off to let it dry.
" Glad i brought that big towel." V'ire gave a little laugh and waded into the shallows to begin bathing Elisth.
Kiyo shot quickly after Tianthe to the shallower water. Were they just going to float around? Though the little Blue had to admit that this was a very fun fire-lizard.

That was all it was? Tirasha nodded. Having treated enough wounds by now the required the removal of someone's shirt, V'ire's throwing his off didn't affect her that much. At least wherhide could withstand a little wet; Tirasha hiked up her skirt but remained fully dressed.
"Does Elisth like to splash?" Tirasha smiled slightly at the Green. She couldn't imagine any other reason for such a big towel. Willow hopped off of Tirasha's shoulder to circle over Elisth and ask permission to help out too.
Tianthe cocked her head as she watched Willow, then chirped to Kiyo. Did he want to go help bathe the big-lizard too? Tianthe liked doing that. She secretly helped sometimes when big groups of fire-lizards came to the lake.

In answer Elisth splashed them both and gurgled. Shivering slightly from the sudden water on his bare chest, V'ire smiled. " That's your answer."
He gathered up some sweetsand and began to scrub at Elisth's back. " She's growing quickly, so she itches a lot. If we don't come here and bathe her every other day, there's oiling every day. Sometimes twice or more." V'ire offered Tirasha some of the sweetsand with a grin.
Kiyo chirped happily and swam over to his Keeper and the dragon. Helping them would only lessen the time it took and then everyone could have fun! Kiyo climbed up onto Elisth's soapy back and gurgled at V'ire.

Tirasha laughed at the dragon's 'reply' and brushed a little water away from her face. The water wasn't too cold, but it had been a bit surprising to have it suddenly shooting at her. Tianthe gurgled and splashed at Tirasha too before fluttering to Elisth's back to help scrub too.
"How big do you think she'll grow?" Tirasha accepted the sweetsand and started scrubbing at Elisth's hide with vigorous movements that likely belied the weak appearance of her arms. Helping out in caring for a dragonet wasn't bad, although Tirasha doubted she would ever be able to work like a real rider at scrubbing the giant adult dragons.

V'ire gave a shrug. " She's already fairly larger than the other greens. She'll be a bigger Green, I'm fairly sure." V'ire gave a little laugh and scrubbed at Elisth's face carefully.
" Close your eyes love. I don't want sweetsand to get in them." V'ire scratched her eye-ridges a little and lathered up her neck as well. " At least we have some fire-lizards to help. It'll give us more time to take a look at the flowers and then watch the sun set if you like."
Kiyo attacked a rather itchy-looking spot on the Green's back with his small claws. This was fun too! There were lots of things that humans did that were just a lot of fun.
Elisth didn't give any directions, apparently they weren't missing anything. All she could do was purr and rumble.
