I'mny sighed inwardly as he sat positioned with his back against Tekisith's side. Far too much had happened in the last few hours for his tastes, which included his flirtacious Blue taking off after a Rising Violet. Of course, Tekisith had not come out as the winner in that particular Flight, but had rather ended up straining himself to a point that would probably keep him grounded for a few sevendays.
"What am I going to do with you," the Weyrlingmaster sighed, folding his arms across his chest and he readjusted his position against the dragon's side. Tekisith, of course, made no mental response, but rather shifted his forme so he lay curled in a circle around the Rider. The Blue had drifted off into a sound sleep a few candlemarks ago, trying to gain back the full movement of his wings as he allowed them to lay slightly unfurled to his sides rather than held tightly against his body.
Only the faintest of smiles seemed to cross the man's lips as he laid a rough hand on the dragon's head. Such a stubborn creature Tekisith was, though I'mny admitted that some of the reasons behind the dragon's foolish Chase had some merit to them. True, Blues had been undermined for way too long by the larger colours, but the Bluerider didn't think that his dragon should have had to push himself over his limits.
He allowed his hand to rest just behind one of the dragon's horns, a slight whisper escaping his lips. "We'll change them yet," he said simply, before closing his eyes slightly. He didn't seem to notice that the entrance to his weyr was wide open and allowed for any mishappenings anyone could think of to occur.
xx o o c. Why yes, this is an open opportunity for someone to annoy the heck out of I'mny x3

Zadari wasn't an overly nosey person, or not usually. Sure, she was a bit space invading at times, but that didn't mean she was nosey. Addmittedly, being bonded to Maiath probably helped that quite a bit, considering she was now bonded to a creature that understood personal space and didn't like intruding on others. In a way, it was so different from even Scuttle, that it was almost like... A clash. Yet, the weird blue that was even now hanging upside down with his tail wrapped securely around her neck, adored the shy little green.
Still, seeing the enterance to I'mny's weyr open for a change, she couldn't help but look. For all that he was fairly sharp tempered, and even annoying at times, there was something about him that Zadari actually found interesting. In all likely hood, it was merely the fact that he was annoying, and it reminded her of being a weyrling the previous time around, when being annoying was absolutely the best thing to be.
She wouldn't say anything though, just watch curiously. Like with many of the male dragon riders, catching them in a content moment with their life partners was hard, even impossible. So Zadari was completely content with just... Watching. Hm, maybe it could be good blackmail material, not that she'd ever get the chance to use it. Not until she and Maiath graduated anyway, that was the problem with being a weyrling, you had to actually behave, and be nice to people. ...You are always nice, aren't you? Well, she was to her dragon, and even her two flitters. Glaring at Scuttle as he decided that the quiet moment was the perfect one for the flitter to try and sing upside down. Unlike many firelizards, Scuttle sung loudly, and off key.
So much so that Crystal, before hidden in Zadari's hair, emerged to glare at him. What a rude little blue. She couldn't understand how Maiath could like him, well she'd just find a quieter perch, since it was obvious Scuttle wasn't leaving, Crystal would go perch on that nice man over there. Lightly, the violet landed delicately on I'mny's shoulder, a long suffering expression on the queen's features. He understood, didn't he, that she just couldn't stay with such a loud and annoying thing. "Scuttle, shut up. And Crystal, get back here. I'm so sorry Master I'mny... I... I don't know what's gotten into them." Her apology ruined by the fact she was trying to stop herself from laughing too much at the way Scuttle merely kept on singing and Crystal all but sighed at him. They...They are being Crystal and Scuttle. That is what has come over them. Why don't you say hello to Tekisith? M-me? Oh... H-he won't want to talk to me... Just try, maybe it'll stop him eating Crystal ..H-hullo Tekisithsir.

I'mny had just started to drift off to slipp, his arms still folded losely at his chest, when the Firelizard's loud and irritating singing reached his ears. He grumbled to himself, one of his ocean blue eyes sliding open as he glared in the direction of his open weyr. He knew he shouldn't have left it open, but he had been a bit distracted with tending to Tekisith to have really cared at the time.
He had just opened his mouth to shout a rather harsh word in the direction of the entrance to his weyr when a violet flitt suddenly alighted on his shoulder. He glanced at it, clearly momentarily confused as to why the creature would choose his shoulder at all with the obvious aura of annoyance the dark-haired man knew for a fact he was emitting. Even so, the 'suffering' look the violet currently possessed had some merit to it. He could certainly relate to the expression; it didn't seem like anyone can get a decent amount of privacy anymore.
"Scuttle, shut up. And Crystal, get back here. I'm so sorry Master I'mny... I... I don't know what's gotten into them."
It was obvious I'mny wasn't about to forgive the apology straight up, judging by the scowl that currently was fixed on his features he definitely was not very pleased with the current situation. Tekisith was stirring slightly, a pained grunt escaping his throat at his sore muscles twinged, but the small slit of colour that could be seen beneath his eyelids seemed to be swirling with obvious amusement as he regarded the unfolding situation from his position on the ground.
"I don't see... what exactly is so amusing," the WeyrlingMaster grumbled, getting up off the floor and glaring in Zadari's direction. He seemed to have forgotten he currently had a violet flitt perched on his shoulder, or just simply didn't mind the small cousin of the dragons compared to the annoyance he was experiencing at being disturbed. "It seems it is simply not possible for any self-respecting Rider to get a moment of peace..."
His voice was harsh, cold almost, and the frown that was fixed on his suprisingly youthful face that seemed to defy his true middle-age position; though the fact he was a bit on the short side generally messed with his intentions to look particularly threatening. Unfortunately, the overshadowing height was one thing he hadn't been blessed with. "Now, what exactly do you want, miss Zadari..." He recognized her primarily from the few lessons he had taught since he had once more taken up his old position, though truthfully even that was a somewhat amazing feat on his part. After all, most of the time he didn't really bother to keep everyone's name's memorized.
Tekisith, meanwhile, twitched the tip of his tail in an almost cheerful manner as Maiath's sweet voice echoed in his mind. If there was one creature's company who he enjoyed beyond all else -- except perhaps I'mny -- it was that of a green. Of course, Maiath was a little young at the moment, but that would change eventually. He smiled up at her, doing his best to hide a wince as he raised his head from the ground. So I'mny had been correct in saying chasing a violet had been a stupid move; oh well, it had been worth it.
Why hello, fair Maiath, he purred at her, twitching the tip of his tail again as a slight smile seemed to touch his muzzle. It was rather surprisingly just how different dragon and rider were. Even though they both had the obvious scarrings of ThreadFall past upon their features, Tekisith was far more friendly than I'mny ever was... at least, towards dragons. He never had really taken well to other humans. Even so, he didn't seem to mind much that the violet Crystal was currently perched upon His; truthfully the blue found any annoyance of I'mny's rather amusing to regard. And how are you this day? Beyond the fact that you are certainly coming a very fine young green.
Even giving the age difference, it was just part of Tekisith's nature to talk in such a way towards other females. The blue was definitely the dragon version of a 'flirt' in a way, though his style of flirting generally wasn't as foreward and obvious as it could be.

Naturally, the dark scowl only made it harder for Zadari to contain the laughter, and though she tried to school her features into something solemn or apologetic, she'd never been particularly good at it, and her green eyes still sparkled with amusement as she tried not to giggle at her weyrling master's scowl. She'd never really noticed how much fun making him scowl could be, but it was almost as strong as the desire to make him smile. Faranth forbid, it might break something. "I do though, that's probably what's so amusing."
For a split second, Zadari's expression sobered, remembering her own complaints at one time, before she shrugged childishly, smiling cheekily as she eyed the way Crystal had seated herself on the blue rider's shoulder. Almost like she'd found an ally in her complaints of Scuttle, really, the blue was just not a fitting companion. He wasn't even a good servant, when she didn't want to get wet, he made it his mission to dump her off her warm, sunny rock and into the lake. For all that though, he was good natured, and he did cheer her up sometimes... He was still annoying though.
Though in a considerably good mood, even Zadari faltered a bit at the coldness in his voice. Like Maiath shied away from cold tones and people, Zadari was finding it harder to adjust to them than she had before. Once, she would have ignored the tone to wallow in misery, or complain to Sitath that he hadn't been laid in a while, but with Maiath, she knew that such comments would either shock or confuse the sweet hearted green. "Nothing, actually, master I'mny. It's my flitter on your shoulder and... For the sake of Faranth, Scuttle." Using the most effective way she knew how to shut him up, Zadari clamped one hand around the blue's small muzzle, holding it shut until he 'giggled' before letting him go. Though he didn't move from his upside down position, he was - mercifully - quiet.
For a moment, Zadari was oddly silent, before she leaned slightly against the wall, knowing Crystal would come when she'd grown too uncomfortable of the stranger. Almost shyly - something not often seen in the green rider - she spoke, lifting a hand to scratch Scuttle in a reflex comfort action. "How is Tekisith? He looks hurt... Is there anything I can do master I'mny?"
Maiath nearly fell over with shock at the almost cheerful greeting, she'd so been expecting a cold shoulder, like his rider. Though she was obviously uncertain how to respond to his compliments, and automatically longed for Hers to be there to hide behind. This wasn't as easy as it had been when she'd been younger, but that didn't stop the tiny green from trying, not at all. Fumbling for a moment, Maiath finally managed to think up a thought out, if stuttering reply. I-I...I am... Well. M-mine was out walking... S-she saw Yours and ... You... she likes seeing blues and their riders... I... I thank you ... for the compliment TekisithSir. Oh... Are you injured? I am sorry! I shouldn't have bothered you...

I'mny raised an eyebrow slightly at Zadari. He had to admit he wasn't exactly used to a weyrling visiting him in his quarters... generally he absolutely hated being disturbed whatsoever, and he had thought he had made his annoyance quite obvious in the way he spoke but it seemed apparently not, for the Greenrider was still here. His frowned depended, but this time it seemed to be more so directed towards the blue flitt than anything else. Didn't the thing comprehend just how much like a dying bird it sounded?
A sweet wave of relief washed over the WeyrlingMaster, however, as Zadari finally managed to shut the creature up, his ocean blue eyes closing halfway even though the way he was still holding his frown made his normally young face appear more so it's actual age. "Thank Faranth..." he muttered, implying the sweet silence that had now inhabited the room with the absense of the 'screeching' noise.
"How is Tekisith? He looks hurt... Is there anything I can do master I'mny?"
However, the fact that the Weyrling had even bothered to ask about his dragon rather surprised him; enough so that the normally sarcastic and cold man actually remained silent himself. His tones noticably softened as he glanced at the blue, but he simply shook his head in response to Zadari's question. "He'll be fine. He just choose to be a bit foolish is chasing after a violet of all things..." he muttered simply. Despite his disapproving tone, the way Tekisith then smiled slightly at his rider showed clearly that the dragon knew I'mny wasnt displeased with him at all. At least Tekisith proved that a blue was fully capable of lasting a fair amount of time in a violet flight; if he had just managed to endure the final dive he would have been an eligible candidate after all.
Tekisith allowed a mental chuckle to radiate between his and Maiath's minds, his eyes swirling various cheerful colours. No, no! It's fine, fair Green. A sore muscle here and there doesn't limit me from speaking. Anyway, it's been a while since I managed to converse with such a pretty individual as yourself. Though, I must say I apologize for Mine's behaviour, he isn't exactly the most social human in the Weyr I'm afraid; though he lightens up eventually, don't worry.
Tekisith shook his head slightly, as if clearing his mind further before settling his gaze on Maiath again. I must admit it's nice to be able to talk to a fellow dragon though. How do you fair, beautiful Maiath? And do not stutter so, I will not bite. [/blockquote]
